quelle bonne idée d'avoir mis cet enregistrement en ligne, j'avais vu l'émission à l'époque et j'avais adoré sa prestation. Peu importe ce que certains peuvent reprocher à son timbre, il s'amuse et se fait plaisir, et l'auditeur le ressent, même pour un récital hors contexte. Sans compter sa diction parfaitement claire, j'en redemande!

Oui, il respecte les partitions de son répertoire, bien sûr !! et il a su imposer bien des fois ses "exigences" techniques à beaucoup de chefs. BLAKE, n plus de son immense talent vocal, est un grand musicologue amateur, chercheur. C'est lui qui a fait les recherches nécessaires à la Bibliothèque Nationale de France, afin de pouvoir examiner les partitions d'origine du compositeur. Aussi, remercions-le pour avoir dépoussièré et ressorti au grand jour cet oeuvre de Boieldieu.

Oh, and it's a shame he's not available for Nemorino at the Met. he sounds totally idiomatic in French, by the way. I was told to sing French as if it were Italian, which i thought was ridiculous; french needs the nasal sounds.

I wish I had more time to post opera, right now I have three stacks of dvd's that I plan on turing into uploads, I just don't have the time. It is amazing that I have alost 1500 videos posted. I really never thought... and nearly 3.5milion views!

Sevoflurane, I am so sorry to hear this news. This is obviously the rantings of a deranged person. They seem to derive pleasure from this sort of conduct. I will honestly never understand what propels this kind of action. I do know that receiving these kinds of messages is painful and distressing, and no one deserves that. Lohengrin has shown himself to be horrible person in the past, and there is no reason to think he/she will change.

Même si la couleur du timbre de R Blake n'est pas la plus belles des ténors légers sa technique est exceptionnelle. Il est aussi l'un des rares a respecter les partitions. Un grand artiste.
