Both. Finger oils can discolor any sealant on the doll or your fingers can also rub the sealant off.

You forgot DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING THAT IS NOT YOURS! I have heard some horror stories about people's dolls being taken right off the table at meets. :( Soooo sad to think someone would do that.

i agree with you guys completly i grew up in a house full of antiques and was constantly taken into places with items of value so i was always aware from an early age not to touch just in case something CANT be replaced

I haven't actually gone to a doll meet, but I ran into a doll owner at a con and even more I had my own doll I asked about everything. I asked if I could touch them, if I could hold them, if I could play with them, and things like that. Everyone I asked was kind enough to let me hold their doll so I could see various styles of doll ( because at that time I was expecting my first and I was excited about him ) and all in all I had fun and lots of laughs were shared between us. :]

Hey guys, I was wondering what you concider to be to young of an age to own a doll, because I have found at least 2 people who have really expencive dolls were between 9-12....

can i add one i don't recall you mentioning in either video? :: don't talk about stealing someone's doll(s)! telling someone that you want to steal their doll and/or how you'd do it is a major red flag at a doll meet.
