I'm from Argentina, and I play in the same position as he does, and he is just the best righ back i've ever seen. An example as a player an as a man. Never heard anyone talk bad about him, and never heard him talk bad about anyone, having a lot of reasons to do so (Pekerman, Maradonna, Veron).

this is a player that will always be remembered! i am a lazio fan, and i think that zaneti is a player which you have to respect! never a bad tackle, never even tried to hurt somebody, just pure desire to play football! such a great player but never a model boy like beckham or ronaldo, who can only dream of reaching javiers class! a great man and a even greater player! What the hell was Maradona thinking leaving Zanetti out? Zanetti is amazing and one of the best. I love watching him at the world cups. Diego paid for it though with the humilating loss. Otamendi is sh*t and he gave the game away. Argentina needed Zanetti, Riquelme, Cambiasso and Roberto Ayala even though he's retired. The team of 2006 were so good.

Zanetti is the best Right Back ever,Cafu was wonderful but at 37 Zanetti is still world class. He can Attack and Defend with so much class, One of the best players of the past 20 or 30 years
