I agree about Muldoon, he is a badass character. Especially in the book; he fights the T-Rex and tranqs is at near point blank range then outruns it in his jeep, then he hunts raptors with his grenade launcher. He would have been a perfect choice to star in this game.

The small dinosaurs in this game are actually Coelophysis which is quite a bit larger for a small dinosaur. The first movie had no Compies so they made up their own.

Also about the gunshot thing in the movie. Very unrealistic unless those shots were slugs. Even if they were slugs those bulletholes are wrong. Thats like a pistol hole. A shotgun is a spray shot or a damn slug which is a big ass piece of metal. Damn holes look more like someone shot through it w/ a pellet gun.

I got this game because at the time I was a Jurassic Park completist, and because there was an offer for some free JP toys.

The Genesis JP games were better.

Your right, main character didn't look anything like Grant. He was way too buff/athletic, and trigger happy.

Yes, John Hammond does die in the book, I'm not sure about Muldoon though it's a been a long time since I read it. I also remember there being more heavy weaponry in the book then there was in the movie.

yeah I got owned the first time I played it too, it takes practice to get good at it, especially on hard mode.

raptor attack, yeah the raptors can be a bitch, just jump over them and try to get somewhat close, ducking never works, there pretty much the only real threat in that mission, also change your weapon to cattle prod or a machine gun weapon ;)

well im really trying to keep the stock rate away for hitting 75 so i mostly go around using the trank machinegun and it works most of the time

well in that case go with the cattle prod and charge it up, and yeah the tranquilizer, its best to save your best weapons being the shotgun and tran missile launcher towards the end ;)

hmmm. Good review so far. But you got me curious. I forget how the black guy died in the movie. The computer dude. And I didn't even realize he was Samuel L Jackson. I can't believe I cant remember how he died in the movie. And I seen the movie thousands of times.

He gets killed by a raptor in the movie, when ellie goes to the shed to restore the power to the island, all she finds left of him is one of his arms, just youtube search it I am sure you will find the scene.

I used to play this game a lot when I was a kid, but I could never beat it. I always got stuck on this mission when your in this red cave.

That was the mission seek and destory where u had to destroy the raptors nest, yeah that mission is a real bitch, but I played it some many times its hardly hard for me anymore, but yeah overall it can be a hard game, it was for me for a while -_-

well a word of advice my friend, if you saw his review on it recently I would wait a month or two and try to forget much of what he said, so that you don;t end up sounding like a rip off of him, because with all the AVGN and Irategamer nonsense you have to be careful, when i did this review i knew ultimategameninja and wizwar reviewed it, so I simply didnt watch there reviews until mine was done that way I wouldn't not sound similar to them and hopefully my ideas would differ from theres

lol, I think he actually does kill dimosaurs in the book with a gun, but I read back in 1996 and I remember some parts vaguely, but in the movie he cant aim at all he shoots the f**kin mirror 3 times in almost the same spot :P, so I had to bash him for it :P

And I was a hardcore Muldoon fan, in the book he kicked ass I do remember that, its a shame they killed him in the movie, in the next parts I wear my childhood Muldoon hat :P

Tactical commander Michael Wolfskin is awesome! And I loved the dancing raptor jokes cause it is so true, they won't come at you nearly ever.
