@jazzzzdude Thank you! I know all too well what you mean by people wanting to hear the sax all the time. Most people, AND musicians for that matter, are closed minded assholes!! hahaha! ~ Wish I could afford a 4000s.
I've been playing these instruments since 1977. They're ALL just lyricons made by different companies. The day after the forclosure auction at the Computone Factory in Boston (1981), Sal Galina (who worked at the lyricon factory) was on a plane w/ the lyricon schematic taking it to Yamaha in Japan. Anything that is a wx made by Yamaha is based on an American patent. Neil Steiner's invention is so similar I call my EWIs LYRICONS also. You're correct and thanks for the comment.

Awesome! Nice windsynth playing - and the other guys too. Wish I could get the opportunity to play my Akai 4000. Everyone wants the sax all the time.

The Wind Synth in this video Isn't a Lyricon. It's a Yamaha WX Wind Synth.

Is the Lyricon you use in the other videos just the Wind Driver Model or do you own and play a Lyricon I or Lyricon II model as well?
I have a WX7 - Yamaha - which I play and enjoy.

@monkeywho - I had jl cooper midi wind drivers installed in my lyricon wind drivers and never gigged w/ them.
I play melody w/ the 2 (brushed brass stubby end)
and solo with the 1 (silver plate tapered end) on this one:
Blackbyrds - Dave Robbins - Paul Soroka - at Takoma Station - lyricon
