good! but i need know how to do these arrangements for moving from one musical note to another, I mean what you think about when you go from one chord to another. do you understand. please how to do that , example in the second: 0:31, 1:01. i love this song.
For the verse, on beat 1, hit the root note. On beats 2, 3, and 4, make a downstroke on the rest of the strings. Between the 2 and 3, and between the 3 and 4, make an upstroke (Root/down/up/down/up/down).
For the chorus, leave out the 1st beat root note and the 3rd beat downstroke (down/up/up/down).
The pattern I use in the chorus is similar to the rhythm guitar in Steve Earle's "Think It Over", or the chorus in the Everlys' "Bye Bye Love".
Good job.

dude! Sounds great, but one thing..in the b part at "back to your arms once more" that's a b7 chord. Check it out!
dstreett56 3 years ago
Oops.
Yep, that should've been a B7. From now on, it will be.

Thank you.
I like having my girlfriend play her upright bass along with it, so I can just do great big strums, but this came out alright, I think.

OMG, I'm sure Don is turning in his grave. Maybe try some RC Hammer rapping Barack Obamma stuff!

hey man that version sounds good! could you post the strumming pattern i would like to learn that version

Thanks, bradlaney.
No magic here:
For the verse, on beat 1, hit the root note. On beats 2, 3, and 4, make a downstroke on the rest of the strings. Between the 2 and 3, and between the 3 and 4, make an upstroke (Root/down/up/down/up/down).
For the chorus, leave out the 1st beat root note and the 3rd beat downstroke (down/up/up/down).
The pattern I use in the chorus is similar to the rhythm guitar in Steve Earle's "Think It Over", or the chorus in the Everlys' "Bye Bye Love".
