  • One of the best interpretations! Mr O'Conor realises the theme from the outset is not a dirge - when it builds it is a natural progression that builds in joy. Superb.

  • I had the oppurtunity to meet John and I did such a gentleman and excellent pianist! He is the greatest living interpreter of Beethoven!

  • i heard this at house md and i just fell in love with this music

  • @mizwyn Great now listen to the other great classical music!! If I may recommend Dvorak's 9th Symphony, Rachmaninov's Piano concertos, Beethoven's Symphonies, Mozart's Requiem, and Bach's Brandenburg concertos... go on on your own from there...

  • Excellent recording of Beethoven's sonata no. 21. I really enjoyed John O'Connor's performance. Thanks for posting.
