Was just browsing and came accross Ras-El-Bar a place where I used to spend my summer vacation about 50 years ago. Then they were all huts, no pave roads, not even a single building. Now I look at this video and couldn't believe my eyes. What a beautifull place they made out of it.
It is great to see Ras El Bar rise again from its ashes, just like the Phoenix. Let's pray and work all together, Christians and Moslems for Egypt to be RISE again and be GREAT and FREE again. Let's get rid of Fundamentalism, Violence and Corruption. We can make EGYPT great again. TAHYA MASR
thanks for the nice words! yeah, tourism in Ras El Bar is just a way to move towards human development. Be proud of your sites and continue evolving them. Salam!
@hish55 Thank you my friend. Feelings are not enough. What are we doing for our beloved Egypt? We sold it cheap to the Arabs, to the bearded funatics, lunatics. Corruption is rampant, these crazy men in their speeches are turning us against each other. We are back to medieval times. TAHYA MASR.
@AdnanMasr I couldn't agree more, glad to see someone else express the same views. Change MUST come. Is there a more appropriate forum for people like us out there? thx
@hish55 I understand what you are looking for. The change has to come from within our People. When clerics, Imams give a fatwas that it is halal to kill anyone as long as you don't like him; or fatwas on how to eat, drink, or dress, and we follow like cattle and no one stands up, Egypt is doomed. We have to stand up to these people: stop killing our neighbours, burning churches, houses, business. Then and only then Egypt will be back on it's feet. TAHYA MASR
@AdnanMasr I am afraid that change from within alone won't be enough to remedy our many ills. We need a movement of some kind. Masr will not tahya just by good wishes IMHO. Best
@hish55 If US, the Egyptian people, don't want to move and set aside our differences, no movement will gain momentum. If we reject fundamentalism, corruption, than a leader will be able to do something. TAHYA MASR
This is Abdu, the movie director, i'd like to thank Piero for uploading it.. hope you will like it, and hope it reflected a little bit of the beauty of Ras El Bar.. waitin for your comments!
This is beautiful and kudos to those who produced and posted it. However, Ras El Bar that I know is beautiful 3shah, taftaf, El-Domyati, Ice Creme Mohamad 3id, lokomadis, gerba etc. I do not think those roamntic days will ever come back.
