  • It's the mummy!!!

  • No place is safe from these damned political commercials! All of them can go to hell!

  • @JordanHelmer Yea I wasn't expecting an ad showing another ugly Hyundai, might as well just watch some VHS's with all these ads online.

  • OMG I use to watch this every Halloween! Still do!

  • The visual are great, but the movie is tedious

Too Rankin/Bass with weak jokes and innumerable and tedious musical numbers.

  • When did the Ramones die their hair orange?

  • 1:47 - 1:50 Have I heard that peice in oldies song without words? If you think you know what I'm refering to,let me know what song.

  • @fishjohnburg You're right. I can't think of the song.

  • I grew up watching this everything Halloween until I was an adult. I haven't seen it on TV lately and would like to buy the DVD.

  • YESSSSS!!!!

  • THIS IS CLASSIC!!!

  • Wow...that is SO bad. I love Rankin Bass, but holy crap, what a way to date a fun little movie. I don't think I've ever seen this one.

  • The skeleton at 1:21 shaking his hips..lol

  • this song sounds even better on the MMP soundtrack!!! Solid 60's frat rock groove...

Anyone out there know who performed it for the movie???

  • Almost forgot about this flick. Thanks much Poster!

  • My fave as a child! and I still love it. The 'band' is called "Tibia and the Fibulas" lol!

  • i thought this movie was great, it tought kids it was ok to b different, a classic!

  • Not so sure about teaching kids to be different, but it was definitely a humorous take on the Universal Monsters and it appealed to kids as well as adults in a way that no other animated feature could.

There again, that's Rankin\Bass productions for you-they also brought us Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty The Snowman and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.

True masters of their craft, and Tim Burton, while good, could only HOPE to be THIS good. Mad Monster Party! \,,/

  • when I was a kid, this was my main movie! frenchescas song "Never was a love like mine" is my all time fave! i usta do the mummy dance too! lol. and you gotta love the hunch back dance...and the duck noises through out the hole thing!
