Hey LCpl. Carter, check out your 14 leadership traits. Now, try not to talk to much trash online. Or I'll come talk to Chief Bankowitz ;) yes, I know who you are. Remember Young Marine, someone is ALWAYS watching
At the end of the video, a male comes up to help her inspect, i do believe his side burns are a little out of regs....just saying, soldiers are a direct reflection of their leaders
@capceo dude this is exatly what my chief does at civil air patrol.Shes a really good leader for 15 years old.shes just teaching you what it will really be like in the real armed forces.Like for example, say that they be mean to you because the enemy teams going to be way more mean to you.she slacks because no matter what the situatoin is you should always be respectful. So leave her alone.
@armymedic98 Well if this is exactly what you're Chief does at your squadron then your Chief is just as bad as this Major. The purpose of CAP is not to prepare you for the armed services. Its also not to prepare you to go to war, so you dont have to worry about the "enemy being mean." As officers, we lead by example. Her slouching is simply unprofessional. Furthermore, you're a 13 year old new cadet. I'm a Cadet Major with 7 years in CAP. Don't argue with me about how to lead.
@capceo That helps but lets be honest with ourselfs, you could step it up a little. Help them by grounding gear and as a C/Maj you need to act like a C/Maj. I am sure you earned it. Keep up the good work. I am a C/Capt and hope you worl with these words.
@MSGTolentino I know im a new part of the squadren and even know its the first time you go they still inspect you.well actually they want me to be the part of the squadren but in like elevn days ill become twelve so they let me be a visitor they didnt really inspect you but you got to be part of the coloms really fun.good luck (for whatever)
I am in the Navy Reserves and I also serve as an instructor in the Sea Cadets. The ages are 11-13 for Navy League and 14-17 for the Sea Cadets. Those 18-21 can be promoted to Midshipman.
wow she pulled out a ruler to see if his insignia was correct. Though you should correct him on what is wrong with his uniform so he can correct it. Btw the age is normally 12 to 18 or if you were in the program before 18 you can continue as a cadet until you're 21.Trust me I've seen it. I have a cadet in my squadron who is 12 and one officer stayed in the cadet program till his 21st birthday.
Yeah, I'm a Senior Airman in CAP, and, hell, I'm said that my uniform surpasses a couple of our squadron's cadet officers. ALL NEW CADETS IN CAP SHOULD READ UP ON CAPM 39-1!
some rookie shit right there. most relaxed inspection i've ever seen. then again...im in the united states naval sea cadet corps...not the cap. so i guess u guys are pretty good for being affiliated with the chair force
ok honestly I watched a 10 minuet video of the naval sea cadet corps, and they looked terrible in the video.
If you wana talk about drill, ect. how hard is it to stand at attention? apparently pretty hard for you guys since they were moving around the whole time. also they were not in step once.
Don't pick a fight if you do not have anything to show thats atleast as good as a video you are bagging on.
It all depends what squadron their in. Personally I thought this inspection was very relaxed also. Im in CAP and ours is a lot tougher. But don't talk bad about CAP. It is a very good program as well as sea cadets.
ok then... its not layed back, that shit is scary as hell cuz if u screw up, u can fail encampment and thats a week of wasted time. The reason it seems so layed back is because everyone is so damn cold, they dont have the energy to yell
well if you want to be ACTUAL about it then its any age you want as long as your in high school, at my school right now, we have a 10 year old try that out

the peaked caps dont look very smart. also their shirts arent tucked in. and the woman who is inspecting them is chewing gum - not very disciplined.

This has to be the most unprofessional inspection Ive ever seen. She:
-Takes the time to smile at the camera during a formal inspection
-CHEWS GUM not only in uniform, but while inspecting another cadet.
-expects the cadet to stand at attention during the inspection, but stands slouched the entire time.
-Has the cadets inspected while they are wearing backpacks and gear.
