I taped a quarter to the piezo, similar to the original penny mod. It increased pickups slightly, but I'm still having major issues with really low velocity sensitivity and dropped notes. Once I plug my yellow tom into the cymbal, I still have the same problems. This leads me to believe its the module itslef. Any fix?

you could try contacting the company, but I have nothing but bad things about their customer service, good luck!
