Nope, it's not true, and it has also possible for the chicken to still be alive after its head is cut off.. so there is no way to prove it doesn't cause it pain. It will still feel the pain of the initial cut as it doesn't die immediately.

i went to have a bite today at tony roma's in sunway p. first, the manager asked me whether kita nak reserve table untuk buka puasa, i said no coz we aint muslims. i was wondering why she asked me that. as we were eating, it came closer to buka puasa time & saw malays coming into the restaurant and ALL the tables was filled with malays, and then makan time. it just reinforced what i knew, that malays are hypocrites, so dont be talking praises about halal shit, it doesnt exist in the real world!

@MegaGreatAlexander Faiz, actually, there are fatwa allowing Muslim to eat slaughters from Jews. There are Hadith about it as well but I'm not sure whether it is Sahih or not. You see, the techniques and law of slaughter in Islam and Judaism might be similar. They also say 'in the name of God' while slaughtering. What is important is the purpose of slaughtering that should be safe, not harmful and clean. But off course if you felt it is doubtful, don't accept it. Anything Doubtful is Haram.

a good effort to explain about halal. but done in a bit of an uninformed manner. Yeah i agree with comments about the bikini girl. you cant attempt to explain something about the deen of islam while involving things like that. plus, halal does not only pertain to food, but other things in life as well. that girl in bikini was haram actually :) maybe somthing like this should be executed with advice from people with a bit more knowledge.. IMHO la :)

Nope, it's not true, and it has also possible for the chicken to still be alive after its head is cut off.. so there is no way to prove it doesn't cause it pain. It will still feel the pain of the initial cut as it doesn't die immediately.

i went to have a bite today at tony roma's in sunway p. first, the manager asked me whether kita nak reserve table untuk buka puasa, i said no coz we aint muslims. i was wondering why she asked me that. as we were eating, it came closer to buka puasa time & saw malays coming into the restaurant and ALL the tables was filled with malays, and then makan time. it just reinforced what i knew, that malays are hypocrites, so dont be talking praises about halal shit, it doesnt exist in the real world!

i think this light comedy clip is just to introduce people to the halal method of killing animals and should be taken in that context only. if people are not satisfied or feel the need to find out further about it, they can always search somewhere else. I mean seriously, as far as educating others about our Islamic way of life, there are very little source that can reach/touch people the way this clip could do. Give it a chance. Yes Islam need their followers eat HALAL food and should be the right way to treat the food to eat. but how bout the lifestyle? @MegaGreatAlexander Faiz, actually, there are fatwa allowing Muslim to eat slaughters from Jews. There are Hadith about it as well but I'm not sure whether it is Sahih or not. You see, the techniques and law of slaughter in Islam and Judaism might be similar. They also say 'in the name of God' while slaughtering. What is important is the purpose of slaughtering that should be safe, not harmful and clean. But off course if you felt it is doubtful, don't accept it. Anything Doubtful is Haram.

the bible and the torah was altered.we believe so. but we're not saying that the whole religion is wrong,Jews stil believe in 1 God. and so do we muslims.. same goes in slaughtering.

Well, i go by evidence. Bab authenticates. Prophet Muhammad did do it for the Letters sent by Him to rulers of empires at the time, in which the Letters had a Seal of Muhammad. i dont see any Seal of Muhammad in AlQuran today, have you? in fact, Islamist anywhere in the world at any point of time does not have any surahs that was written in His presence. so, if you are bringing in the subject of satan, guess where satan would have infused his satanic teachings? in book that is not authenticated.

@ZeBigMike A seal is required for a work to authenticated. eg. otherwise, your second cousin from your dad's side can write a book about you in 10 years time and claim that you confessed you are a gay 15years ago. do you expect people to believe blindly at that claim? that is the reason for authentication. or maybe you expect a bank to give you a million dollar loan without taking your ID and signature? even a bank will do diligent check on you, what more when it involves spiritual matters.
