But it looks like the NCAA are going to bar him from playing at Mississippi State this season because he is no longer an amateur (family was living in a home in California valued at $1 million, at a rent of over $5000 a month, without any apparent income source that would be sufficient to pay for that kind of lifestyle). I really don't see the Eddy Curry comparison except for the fact that they kind of look similar. Sidney has a much more versatile game. He can handle the ball and shoot outside as well as score down low. He reminds me more of Derrick Caracter in high school. Hopefully he will have a better career than Caracter though.
