Growing up there is Santa......the Easter Bunny, the Great Pumpkin......then there is religious brainwashing.  All religion does is try to control the weak, take their money, and promise them a part of the Brooklyn Bridge, oops heaven. What a scam! Tax exempt, no questions to be asked....follow me and send your money to god at MY ADDRESS. LOL.

@fenway1935 What about the religion that feeds the starving, shoes the shoeless, and educates the ignorant? Its easy to say religion is wrong the same could say that about a car, when a drunk person is driving a car it becomes a missile. It is the responiblity of the people to choose their leaders and if they are to ignorant to know a good leader or a false prophet then natural selection will alleviate us of this issue.

This is why my dad always told me.. Church is organized.. Religion is being used for profit, instead of faith and salvation. I believe that bible study should be done at home with the family so that false idea's or preseptions arent implanted into your mind or your childrens minds. And after watching this i think i believe him!!!!

@PROPERTYOFMRCULLEN ok i mite understand how or y u may think like that but there is still pure religion out there like for instance the church i attend to the church of christ where everything that we say comes from the bible and people actually turn their bibles and read for themselves to actually see what the person is talking about and no one is a leader only leader is God soo no one is singled out and made with power..religion is out there just look for it carefully

@PROPERTYOFMRCULLEN Why isn't it more reasonable just to admit that there's no proof for a God and that pretending there is one doesn't really enhance our lives at all? You can be a good person without pretending that a millennia-old book is an effective modern treatise on moral behavior.

Provide me with COMPLETE AND ABSOLUTE PROOF that there isn't a God and maybe I will ATTEMPT to view things from that perspective.. In the end why do you care if I believe in a God or not, I do not pressure my faith on others what makes it right for an ATHEIST to pressure there ATHEISM on me?? JESUS LOVES YOU!!!

@PROPERTYOFMRCULLEN No one's pressing anything on you. All I said was that there's no proof for God, so why would I believe in it? There's no proof for Allah, either, or Zeus, or Shiva, or any deity. Do you need complete and absolute proof that Allah doesn't exist? Or Zeus? In the end, if you think reasonably, there's no reason to believe that a god of any kind exists. It defies logic.

Also, there's no proof that Jesus ever existed -- look up "historicity of Jesus", it's pretty interesting.

@snowleopard205 No version of Christianity has any more evidence for it than the others, and anyone can make up their own version. There is no "true church". All religions lack substantiation.

Learn the history of Christianity. You won't find it in the Bible. Many versions of Christianity existed when the Bible was put together, and although most Christians believe that they agree with each other, many unofficial variations of Christianity exist today. For instance, some don't believe in Hell.
