  • @jgh64 the combo eventually put out 630hp but this dyno session I think produced only 540hp or so if i remember correctly. The injectors were 42lb ford racing injectors. The pump was a 255lph with no other real fuel mods besides possibly a regulator I am not sure I will have to ask him. He drove around with a tweecer tuner hooked up and did lots of laptop testing and tuning for a while when he first put it together.   • Correct it is a 98 and it went 13.9 stock.

  • This car uses 42# injectors with a 255lph in tank so I think you should be fine. He dynoed 580hp and 600+ tq...

  • You might have to upgrade the fuel rails and the lines running to them. Is your car stick or auto? My car was an auto (dynamic Mighty mite) and around 480whp my fuel system was maxed out with the same system you stated, but a friend with a stick got about 550whp. Kinda stange to me, but that is my personal experience. G/L.

  • mines a 6speed DND viperspec,aluminum flywheel,spec clutch,aluminum driveshaft,im going to C heads and 99-01 intake so i will get better rails and go to 55# injectors

  • Yes Tune is very important, he tunes it himself with a tweecer and a wideband o2 sensor...

  • no no not stock internals. The cap on those motors was always said to be about 420-450 hp but it dynoed 490 to the wheels with the vortech s/c at 13 lbs and handled that a while. The motor broke when he sprayed a little nitrous one day on that setup. A piston broke. Bored the block and put forged e-bay internals, 600$ machine work. Low compression.

  • People don't really understand how much power 500 is. Ya, my dad use to have 69 stangs makin almost 1000 with over 1000 ft. lbs. I care how you put it to the ground and how you drive it. Unless your building a track only car, you don't really need all that to have fun. My ranger with just a cam, balanced crank, chip, 28 lb injectors, 255 pump and MSD ignition is fun as hell for a 4.0. It'll will kick out the rear with 373's and 33" tires 1st through 3rd and 4th if you do a little clutching.

  • Forged pistons and rods with low compression. Runnerless, ported, gutted cobra intake, removed and ported intake butterflies, longtube headers still in place so the turbo piping is very inefficient. Its a work in progress and is already being redesigned and a good ball bearing turbo being bought. Fun stuff.

  • 500 not likely on a stock block, what else is done to it. I have a stock 302 H/C/I and only put down 425hp with a mpt-70. curious why it takes you so long to spool, mine spools around 3200 rpm. just curious.

  • I just state the facts and the car has trapped 132mph so it doesn't even matter what the dyno said. The next new video of this car will have the dyno sheet posted in it. We have many theories why the car doesn't spool quick I already said a few. Inefficient turbo piping design, and non-ball bearing add to the lag. I think the turbo is too big, its only 286 cubes.

  • dont get me wrong the car is capable of 500+ and im sure u will get it there soon but to say that pull was 500+? come one what was the real number of that run??? and believe me you can tell a whole lot by how the motor spools and sounds..

  • This car has been dynoed 1 time since the turbo, this video, taken at Modular Depot. I will get the dynosheets to post the exact number. A mix up lead to a fule additive being in the mixture that made the car run like shit that day and the wideband was off the charts rich on that run. Oversized turbo, inefficient turbo piping design, and non-ball bearing add to the lag but once it gets going its a runaway train.

    Sound has nothing to do with power or speed of a car genius. I don't care what you believe, but in future videos you will see the evidence.

    I believe the Fenris Cobra Dynoed 520-530 rwhp on this dyno video and 600+ lb feet of torque. Face the facts bro there is a beautiful dyno sheet to go with it you will see soon.

  • Also, that dyno was only 15 lbs of boost on. This next summer will be 20 lbs and a ball bearing turbo upgrade. The entire turbo system cost less than the vortech blower he previously had in the car, around &1,500.

  • With no boost off the line on drag radials the car has gone 11.4@132mph. The car doesn't even get moving until 4th gear then its a damn rocket ship. Also like I said the car is not a stripped out race car. Full leather interior and STOCK suspension so far.

    YOU may not be impressed, thats all good, cool. But, not many street cars can trap 130+mph, and he drives the car EVERY DAY.
