Do the clear brackets stain?? cause im not sure whether to get metal or not. also do they make your lips stip out? cause my lips already are a bit pouty and i dont wanna look like ive been punched in the face lol

@ClarittaJos The actual brackets don't stain, but the bands around them do. They will get changed about every 6weeks though. And it also makes your lips stick out just a bit, but I don't think it's enough to look like you got punched in the face. Lol

Do your braces touch the sides of your mouth all the time? I just got mine and it feels so uncomfortable. I can't chew anything, like my mouth just clashes with all the metal :( I hate it ... it hurts as well, but hopefully it will go away soon.

Hey. I have quite a big overbite at the top set of teeth. Like when i smile with my lips closed, its obvious. And the gap between my top and bottom teeth is like a pinky size. I hate taking side profile pictures since they are just so hideous. And my bottom teeth is missing one tooth at the bottom. And its slightly overcrowded. My mum thinks i dont need braces! How do i explain to her that i need one??

@Kaleybug23 It does nt hurt... u will only feel something soft pushing against ur teeth... I already did my molding and x-ray... i just hve to do my seperators, spacers and finally braces!!!

@Kaleybug23 It actually depends on how much mold they put on the metal thing... If they put alot, it won't be pain bt if they put very little, it will be quite pain as the metal will be pushed against ur gum.

You have a lot of food in your bottom teeth.. if you keep it there when you get your braces off then there will be yellow circles on your teeth..

My friend got braces and then he got a lisp. It's too funny! I'm getting my braces Tuesday.. my teeth are effed up 'cause I have to 'train my tongue'. So they're gonna put this wheel on the roof of my mouth to play with so I don't undo the braces. But yeah, I'm definitely gonna have a lisp. :|

I hate having brace on, I've had mine on for 3 years, I still have a long time to go too!!! As it is today i have to get surgery to expose a tooth that cant come down by itself, I was born without certain adult teeth so like my mouth is full of issue. I was fine with them for the first month, now I hate them and want them off!!!

yeah, i had to have braces for about 18 monthes.. it was awful and painful. be sure to wear your retainer when you get them off, because your teeth apperently go back to the way they were before

They are clear, but the teeth that they are turning have a cream wire with it.

I know it doesn't make sense, but it's the teeth that aren't crouded or sticking out (Buck teeth). They are the ones that are turned...like the sides of my teeth were facing out. Those have a white wire wrapped with a clear band.

I have had a few request for close-ups since I have a new camera that focuses, so I can show you what I'm talking about.

I like the ceramic ones better...besides the obvious reason of them being clear, they also don't rub the inside of my lips as raw.

They do stain if you don't brush after you eat anything with alot of sauce, or drink alot of coffee. So I just drink my coffe out of a straw and carry around those disposable tooth brushes.
