True true Runescape is browser based and maybe I am bashing a little hard on it but either way Runescape's just simply dated. There's much better games out there now and I can't stand it when people compare Runescape to games like WoW.

i do not personally play runescape but you cannot say it is the worst mmorpg simply because it is a web client. There are numerous things you can do on runescape and it has been around forever. You can't bash on it just because it's web based.

Well by the end of the year you've spent a total of 250 dollars. I can assure you that no item mall will gank a whopping $250 out of you by the end of a years worth of playing. Sometimes the feeling of knowing that i can step away from a game for a good month then come back and find that i can still log in, well.... is just a damn good feeling.

I understand how item malls could be a turn off for some people. However, not everyone wants to pay $15 a month and play the game mainly to feel like you've gotten your moneys worth. Also what happens when you stop paying that subscription fee? Say you've played WoW for a full year, well you've spent 70 dollars just to start playing ($40 for the battle chest and $30 for the newest expansion) plus about 180 dollars in a years worth of subscription fee's ($15 a month).

Runescape is probably one of the worst MMORPG's on the market. I've seen better graphics produced by a regular Nintendo console (which came out in 1985). I understand that to most gamers content is much more important than graphics but unfortunately runescape lacks both. So please, explain SPECIFICALLY how runescape in any way compares or is even better than WoW.... or Hello Kitties Island Adventure for that matter.

Allods Online was released in Russia, for EU and US it's in closed beta for localization and other tweaks, and soon open beta.

I've tried Runes of Magic coming from World of Warcraft and my god does it completely rip of the interface. Other mmos atleast deviate somewhat but RoM completely copied WoW. I have no clue how WoW is not the best mmo. Not only does it dominate the mmo market but it is much larger than any other mmo. WoW > RoM. End of story.

MMO's with ingame shops are quite easy to get rich in, take Maple for example. I started off dirt poor, but after learning about the economy of that game, and the demand and supply, I merched max mesos in about...5 months? Maybe 6. I just sold items in MTS to afford a store, and I was set.

Did you know that Runes of Magic forces you to pay ridiculous amounts of REAL LIFE MONEY to get anywhere in the high level activities? Oh sure you can sell items for the diamonds but really without the gear you have to pay with real life money for how are you supposed to get them?

You know, just as a little word of advice, some people stick to a game when they really like it. Meaning, they begin to say good things about it when they get into it, I'm sure marinefighter doesn't care what someones opinion is. Coming from a Runescape fan, that comment loses any point it had. Oh and by bigger I mean you can do more stuff that is not mindless grinding like in Runescape. If you deny that Runescape is grinding then you are stupider than I thought. If a game being free is the ONLY positive then it is truly not a great game. Give me reasons like the game play and graphics and not the price. 15 dollars a month is absolutely nothing to people with jobs. Now if it was like 30 dollars a month I wouldn't play it but 15 is not overpriced. And again, WoW costs money for a reason; because it is WORTH the 15 dollars a month. Runescape is not worth any money... So please explain how Runescape has better game play and graphics please...Just try it.
