I am loving the end results, your model's hair pre-treatment is a lot like mine, so I have some hope. Since the treatment can last up to 12 weeks, do you recommend this treatment on a regular basis or should this only be a 1-2 time a year thing?
@SoopremeBeing I recommend getting the treatment on a regular basis. Since its not a permanent treatment, the product wears off the hair. You'll definitely be able to tell when its time to redo it.
@13coyoteugly What city are you located in? You may need to Google Brazilian Keratin Treatments in your area to find a certified stylist. The treatment ranges between $250 - $350
I enjoyed this video. I have a question that I hope you can answer. I am NOT natural...I get a perm once a month. Will this work on my hair as well, after getting a perm? Or is it best for people with un-permed hair (oxr in between perms)?
@princezzbg15 The Keratin Treatment will work on all hair types whether relaxed, permed, natural, colored, short, long, or curly...and etc. This treatment however is not a chemical and will not straighten your hair.
I am natural(never had a perm) and I just have a few questions. If it is humid outside would my hair become frizzy as if it were a regular straightening? How often should you get the treatment? Would your hair revert back to its natural curl pattern afterwards? Being natural, is a brazilian blowout the best/safe choice for straight hair?
@lunch10932 if you get the treatment, and done correctly, you should not experience any frizz. The treatment lasts between 10-12 weeks and your hair should revert back to its natural curl pattern. The Brazilian keratin treatment is good for all hair textures. I no longer use Brazilian Blowout Product. Check out my latest Q & A on Keratin video. Hope this helps.

@PrettyDanceDiiva This song is by the Avila Brothers. It's called "I want you" I'm not sure about at-home keratin treatments. I don't recommend them as they cost you more in the long run. Find a professional in your area to have it done. If you're in LA, send me a message!
Hi, does getting a keratin treatment or a brazilian blow out only work on natural black hair? For example I have a relaxer and was wondering if I could get one ( a Brazilian blow out or keratin treatment).
@dmoney4597 Brazilian blowout is a keratin treatment. It's like Toyota and Nissan. They're both cars, but different brands. The keratin treatment works on all hair types. Natural, Chemically treated, colored, curly, straight, short, long, and etc.
@901mtwnshawty the "Brazilian Blowout" is a brand of keratin treatments. I prefer Cadiveu. The differences are the results they produce on my clients.
@rairules10 This really depends on how the treatment is applied and how you normally wear your hair. For a more sleek look, like flat iron and curled, if the hair gets wet, it won't curl back up the same way as before the treatment. Look for my latest video, where you'll see the "before" treatment shampoo and "after" treatment shampoo...
All 2+ month keratin blowout products are based on "chemical" softening no matter what the manufacturer says. It may be Formaldehyde, or some other aldehyde. Not all aldehydes are bad. But some chemical active must initiate cross-linking between the Keratin in the product and the Keratin in the hair. Your client thinks that she has a non-chemical treatment. This is the farthest thing from the truth. I'll explain more if you would like.
@searles7 ***Please do your research before posting comments*** I'm a licensed stylist and would never recommend a product for my clients that would be harmful. I use this product myself. Formaldehyde is a gas, not a liquid. And the product does not contain formaldehyde. I don't need you to explain more. If you have questions about any products you may be using, always contact the manufacturer. Don't just go by what you see on the news. Research, research, research!
@mswhattheblush U say "do your research"......I was researching and making cosmetic formulations when u were still in diapers.
U say, "I ....would never recommend a product....harmful". I believe you and applaud you, but licensed stylists are tricked every day. I've been fighting this for 30+ years.
U say "Formaldehyde is a gas". Formaldehyde appears as a gas or a liquid. I used to buy it in drums as a LIQUID.
U say "If u have questions,...contact manufacturer". I AM a manufacturer.
don't use it anymore! look up brazilian blowout recall. it is important that you look! It damages hair and there are chemicals involved. OSHA recognizes formaldehyde as a carcinogen. The FDA has received complaints of eye irritation, breathing problems and headaches associated with a product used to straighten hair.
is this treatment like perm?
Caribbeanchiq 2 days ago
@Caribbeanchiq it has the benefit of a relaxer without the chemicals
