RUF isn't a factory Porsche, RUF is after tunner for Porsche. LP560, LP640, & etc are all factory Lambos. Fastest Factory Porsche vs Fastest factory Lambo would be a better way to put it.

Yeah, that would be a great race! The lambo has AWD, & DSG. Considering 90% of people can't drive worth a shi* lol & that the Carrera GT is tricky to launch, only rwd, & a standard manual trasmission The driver in the Lambo would probably win anywyays..lol. But yeah the CGT is alot faster. Coming soon though 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV. That thing is going to be nasty fast! I just saw it on C&D 0-60 3.0, 0-100 7.2!? est of corse. but check it out.

Carrera GT is rated the fastest natural aspirated car worldwide, u can check it out in magazines and websites if u want to make sure. but i guess LP670 vs carrera GT will still go to the carrera GT but who knows. also the carrera GT will be upgraded in 2010.

@alembara6oor @alembara6oor ferrari enzo, pagani zonda f, murcielago lp670-4, saleen s7, mclaren f1 etc are all faster than carrera gt and they are all naturally aspirated. i dont know how you can say the cgt is the fastest n/a car.

@golf1diesel Dumbass, the LP-670 would murder a Carrera GT too. 0-60 takes 4 seconds in a Carrera GT and only 2.8 seconds in a LP-670 will the LP-670 having a top speed of 214 MPH and the Carrera GT only having a top speed of 205 MPH.

It was an uneven match, had the Turbo gone against the regular Murcielago (not the LP640 or LP670) then the race would have been more proper. They have comparable 0-60 times. However I tend to think that if you put a the Diablo VT with 500+ BHP, against the porsche then things would have been different considering the Diablo is faster in the top end and has the ability to accelerate faster once above 120MPH. Pretty cool though.

yea, the latest Lambo's where for looks and weren't all that fast, but Audi (lambo owner) seeing that Lambo is getting beat made the Lambo Murceilago LP640, that was just insane.

Yes I love lambos and ferraris but on the drag race,porsche is faster than gallardo so it is fairly done but before a race f430 and 997 turbo has not have lots of gap on drag they are similar than this race.

Heres your issue, its the old gallardo, not the 2006 version, it has 20less horse power, and 30% longer gear ratios. Hence the reason it laggs behind like it did. Take the SE against the 997 turbo and it would be a much closer race!

Gallardo or F430 Ferrari's just can't keep up with Porsche turbo's. I personally would prefer a 997 GT3 however, faster revving without the turbo and less weight without the AWD.

Yes, but the C6 has a bloody LS7. (7 liter engine, compared to a 5 liter) :P

The new Gallardo SE or Superleggera is probably almost as fast as the 911 Turbo.

It also seems this one has a manual gearbox, instead of

E-gear.

The Porsche has Tiptronic, at least that's what it sounds like.

So it isn't really fair because the Gallardo would lose alot of torque when switching a gear.

But still the Porsche 997 Turbo would win. And it should be. :D
