i hate how albums are mixed nowadays. too fucking loud. I love loud music but its like there is no mixing anymore, they just turn everything up til its about to peak and slap it on plastic. Those old albums were awesome because they not only had freedom to write whatever they wanted, their songs were actually balanced and subtle.
