cats that have a kink in their tail or no tail at all are called manx cats, it's a breed. Manx cats are usually born with no tail or a tail deformity. I had one once.

exactly, there is nothing wrong with the cat itsjust a kink, i worked in an animal hospital in tokyo and a lot of cats are born this way its actually really cute :) they have them since they are kittens andthey grow up with the kink; thats how we were able to tell the stray kittens apart at work <3

no sorry i mean that we took care of so many kittens (they get dumped at our hospital as young as 3 days old) and since they look SO alike we can only tell them apart by their distinct kinks in their tails :)

It's called a bobtail. It's a breed of cat.

These are called kinks in the tail. Its caused by a recessive gene and many Japanese cats have it. There are animals where the owners from many parts of the world do like to actually mess up a cat for some style they want. An example would be dobermans who get their tails docked and ears cropped. However, this cat is totally natural, so theres nothing gross about it.

Japanese bobtail, it's a breed of cat, but as this one has a longer tail, I think it's a mix between japanese bobtail and some other breed :) anyway, this kitten is really cute! ^^

A japanese bobtail is when the cat's tail resembles more of a rabbit..

i think this cat was just a bit deformed. and on the profile of this person they have a picture and an arrow to the tail saying its the charmpoint!

Cats that grow up and live in homes or apartments usually act very odd just like this cat. I am not absolutely sure why, but I believe it to by psychological.
