I think one of the problems I have trying to clear this game with no continues is because I always use Yusuke. I see what you mean about him being too fast.

IIRC, I had Camtasia recording at 30 FPS and ran ESPRade at 320x240 resolution. My computer has a P4 3.0 ghz. I kept hardware acceleration on (in contrast to some guides I've read that suggested turning it off). Without it, MAME lags horribly.
Level 4 makes me vomit rage haha. Have you ever been able to 1CC this game?
