Dahil hindi nagtatraffic ang SCTEX eh? NLEX, SLEx, STAR Tollway lang ang lagi nagtatrapik dyan pati rin Skyway minsan na daw. Ang luwag-luwag pa nga ng kalsada at saka ang linis tignan,
malimit ako pumunta ng Subic , pwede ka naman tumakbo hanggang 140 o mas mataas pa , wag ka lang pahuhuli dapat alerto ka pag may nakita kang flashing lights galing sa mga patrol carsmenor ka na agad! hahaha! kasi kung talagang huhulihin ka , makikita sa card ang travel time mo , from point of entry hanggang pag exit mo , dun pa lang malalaman nila kung gaano ka kabilis nagtravel....
@dmitrivalencia They should widen the SCTEX to 3 lanes in each direction to support 140km/h speed limit and make it exciting for drivers travelling this route
@EpicThe112 i agree! an expressway should make drivers comfortable and 100kph is not comofrotable and i am not at ease while cruising through. 140km/h is reasonable
@dmitrivalencia Even the NLEX most drivers would go over the 100km/h speed limit and drive at 110-220km/h and if they have a 140 km/h speed limit then most drivers would travel over the expressway at 140-240km/h

The last exit of SCTEx in Tarlac will be connected to the proposed Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX). As of now, the construction of the said expressway is still in pangasinan. No activity in Tarlac yet.
@htheoavatar Hopefully once the TPLEx is finished and operational they will consider an extension to the Ilocos region cutting driving time from Manila to Ilocos, now that will be dream come true!
I drive from Cleveland where I live to Charlotte NC to visit my relatives. It's straight south on I-77, a distance of 520 miles, approx. 850 kms, 8 hours on the exressway.
100 kms/hr (approx 62 miles) is the aveerage speed limit here in the States. You can probably go up to 120 (70miles) with no fear of getting ticketed.
@irenempanlilio wow! 8 hours, its like going to Vigan, unfortunately here 100kph is the max speed limit but some cars dont mind the speed limit. This is where cruise control gets handy hehehe
