are you guys dumb? the waterline shows on the port side if the boat turns to port because they're so top heavy they list the opposite way when you turn. so the cape reliant definitely turned into the reality.
What a fucked show. I noticed a new dent in Reality back in Petersburg. Mystery solved. Pretty lucky you guys didn't lose the skiff when the Cape Reliant hit it.
@mattnye112 Part 1-That applies to fast, light speed boats that lean into the turn. Slower, heavier boats lean away from a turn just like a top-heavy vehicle does. At the beginning of the video the Cape Reliant leans to starboard, which means he's turning hard to port. Then the guy cranks it over to starboard briefly before cranking it back. At :09 you can see the corner of the Reality's cabin roof dip.
@mattnye112 Part 2- Which means he was trying to turn away to avoid a collision, but the Cape Reliant still managed to run him down. The first 12 seconds look like a feint by the Cape Reliant, then when it didn't work he went all the way. According to the rules of the road, the vessel on the starboard side has the right of way which is the Cape Reliant, but it's still his duty has avoid a collision. No, I wasn't there, but I've spent enough time on boats to have a good idea of what's going on.

it clearly shows that the Cape Reliant was avoiding the Reality. if he wasn't why would the water line and below of the Cape Reliant show on the port side! it shows he was turning away from him! if the reality said he got hit how come th camera on tht boat aint movin up and due to buoyancy of him turning.
i hope bill connors and al otness and louie alber along with andy kittiams all get hung on this since they all combine in the salmon fishery these guys have been getting away with this bulshit for too long hopefully no insurance company will ever consider carrying them on a policy. what a bunch of punks! time to strike back at these greedy hungry bastards!!!

Nobody is trying to avoid anybody in this clip. The reality is trying to cut off the Signe Lynn and the Cape reliant makes sure that doesn't happen.

i can see the water line where the two colors meet. the bottom of the boat on the port side is really showing high out of the water,
it wouldnt be showing unless he was turning, right? cause the water is calm and it ain't affecting his boat!!!!
