Your 101 g9 has the SAME ISSUE MINE DOES. Bloody horrid touch screen sensor... 4 point is better than 2 but less than competing 10point units. At 2 points touched, the sensor flakes out if the axis of the 2 touchpoints is parallel with either of the screen borders, dropping one of the 2 points randomly. The HP Touchpad, iPad, every other tablet and capacitive cellphone ive ever used, DOES NOT HAVE CALIBRATION MODE. Why does the 101 g9's touch sensor? CHEAP CRAP THATS WHY
@opointon Yes you are correct, however to get to the calibration screen you need to be able to select it via the touchscreen, I was able to do this but others online have not been able to. Anyway , this type of problem does not occur on mature well thought out products.
@vanrentals Ok, all respect and credit to you. Just over a week after leaving that comment I had so many problems I ended up taking the tablet back to HMV - luckily I got a full refund and funnily enough, was told the model had been discontinued as there had been so many issues with it. I won't be purchasing an Archos product in the future.

ive had the same problem with mine but a quick google advised me to recalibrate the device, it's now working just fine :-)
