Ok so I agree that the skipping and the screaming was totally wrong and sweeney Todd is not that kind of musical bt did they direct it? If they did well then they need to look into it again bt I don't think they did. Though your voices were amazing!!!! :)
You know even though i do agree that some of the movements werent needed i still thought this was the best opening that i have seen of any highschool, thats the best part about drama, its open for interpretation. you could have done the same thing every highschool did *kudos on not goin all Johnny Depp on us* . but you didnt therefore i applaud you.
the vocals sound great, but i just dont like all the movement in this version. Part of the immense power of this number lies when the performers stand stone still the entire time. it freaks out the audience, aka if whoever directed this had done that, this would be the best youth version on youtube. the vocals again sound AMAZING

The girls singing the high parts (including myself) are really loud, so we're hoping to cut it out, but it works really well. Maybe we'll keep it, lol. Then again, that is up to our director.
this was amazing overall the only part i really kinda didnt like was the screaming bit at the end it kind of made the performance seem younger and more immature but over fantastic!!!!

The guy who sang the opening lines had a gorgeous voice and was really in character which is hard to do when your in the chorus.
The dancing on the counter melody section.. It wasnt needed and it didnt aad to anything it was just distracting to all the melodys which (I know) took ages to work out, so why ruin it? A great job overall! Well done!

you guys have no apreciation to sondheim.
you cant just add words in it sounds really stupid ( one of the male soloists)
its NOT a dancy show, the skippy bits just totally destracted from the serious-ness of the song.
I know your not professionals but this is possibly one of the WORST ballads of sweeney todd, it looked more like a halloween hairspray!
(on the up side the lighting was good)
