whether you are designing a real or dream home, remodeling or decorating project, you want to get it right the first time. as you mention, much of the house design software has some glitches/bugs. also, design professionals who have the best software and know how to use it, say that they use the Home Quick Planner symbols to work with their clients and make design changes right on their printed floor plans.

p.s. the reusable, peel-and-stick Home Quick Planner symbols are vinyl, not paper.

why not just use myvirtualhome? lots easier but a but a few bugs and kinks/software glitches. what do you expect? its free.

nice video but im not paying $30 for a bunch of peel and stick paper furnishings/walls when i can buy a computer program and spend 30mins learning it and create a floor plan in 3D then save to desktop/folders and mail it to a customer. nice idea though.

when you use the home builder kit can you build pools and everything as well i want to design my dream home including the outside as wall like retaining walls and landscaping so i was kind of curious if i could build all of the different textures for the home like brick, stone, wood, and all the goodies?

The Home Quick Planner's 700 furniture and architectural symbols can be used to lay out exterior walls and details, as well as interior, up to the full size of the planner's 5,600 square- foot Floor Plan Grid sheet. For larger areas and to show textures including stone, brick, wood, etc., I would recommend that you also buy the 3-D Home Kit (about $30) that you can search and view online at Youtube and online vendors.

Something like Floorplanner(.)com or google Sketchup is probably better for future architects and such. For laying out floor plans, floorplanner is a lot easier to use than sketchup.

What I love about the Home Quick Planner is that both amateur and professional designers and decorators can use it right out of the package. With all software, it takes a lot of time and skill to learn it and get it right. After you learn how to use the software and print the plan, then you can use the Home Quick Planner's reusable peel and stick symbols to make changes right on the floor plan-again a lot easier than making changes with software.

google "home quick planner" and you will find several companies that sell it. this planner works great with the "3d home kit", which you can also find for sale online by searching for it on google. you can design your own floor plan with the home quick planner and then build a three-dimensional model of your dream home with the 3d home kit. these are great tools for future architects, engineers and designers. some companies offer a good discount when you buy the two products together.
