I always tend to go with Kikkoman but today I went to the store to change it up a little and got myself Ninben Triple Strength Seasoning Soy, badass name aside have you tried it? How is it?
This has got me hungry.....Im going to make my favourite....prawns in black bean sauce.....youre a great presenter and have a wonderful speaking voice....Ive enjoyed all your vids.....Why not go pro, and have an Asian cooking program?....I could see you as the next Floyd...(for those who remember)....btw, I live in the colonies(Canada)
yay I jusy bought my first ever say sauce!! (I have never tasted soy sauce before) it's 200 milliliters and cost me 0.5USD - I live in ukraine and it was made in a ukrainian factory that also makes noodles. Tried pouring a lil on bread and it had a very harsh/weird flavor - will see if pouring it on rice will be any different - I will start with small quantities
I had a Chinese girlfriend from country side China at one stage. She hated Japanese soy sauce! But amazing, you've tried all these various soy sauces I see on the shelves which I haven't tasted. I'll try getting your sweet kikkoman on the label says it's made form small grain domestic beans.
Good video, back in the US it cost around 5-7 US dollars or 3 pounds. But, I would definitely have to go to an Asian grocery store to buy those same type of bottles in your video.
Basically you have light soy and dark soy. Dark soy can be sweet or salty. Light soy is salty but in my opinion all light soy is slightly sweet. So, here is my question. Do you know any light soy that taste completely salty? I NEED TO MAKE MY CHICKEN RICE SAUCE WITH IT! HELP!

You should try tasting the food as a whole as you add the soy sauce. That way you will have the right amount for you :)
