@MrCriticalState I don't think anything's wrong...Bowie was very shy at first too. They make the squeaky sounds & whining but he didn't start mumbling until 5 months & talking didn't start until 8 months.

I've actually had a blue jay that i rescued and he would take baths like this but he would actually just dive into the water and get water everywhere.....

I baught a 2 year old green indian ringneck around 4 month ago. He always trys to clean himself, but I want to help. When I take a spray bottle though he flips out! And he doesnt use the little bath I put in his cage for him? Is there something I should be doing? Beautiful birds by the way x

@indianringneck2 guess some dont' like the spray bottle...I actually bring bowie in the bathroom & let him hear the water & also let him hang out on the shower caddy a couple times a week. try that? i've also had bowie since 11 weeks old, so it was easy to condition him to get used to certain things I think..

@PhoMew87 I laughed out loud...'trying to flatten himself'......he is, isn't he hahaha. Yeah i'm surprised hazel didn't get right in there and hog the water. She usually takes stuff from bowie when he's not looking.

@jxh0703 It looked to me like Hazel stuck her foot in a couple of times and decided the temperature wasn't to her liking, so she decided just to get her toes wet and be content with that.

Awwwww..... they're being the best of buds enjoying one another's company. SO CUTE!!! Bowie is breathtaking, they both were. Thanks for sharing ;-)

OH...that noise is an airplane...I live close to the int'l airport, and live right under one of the major flight paths!

sometimes I say "here comes the plane!!" so the birds know it's just the plane, and hoping bowie learns the phrase too lol.

@birdlady423 haha, thanks Linda :) I hadn't given bowie that shallow bowl in awhile...he probably just went nuts. The water was also nice & warm since I sometimes I add a bit of the hot water from the kettle for them :p
