  • na mia is langweilig

  • yes that is nice

  • holy shit... im liberal, and whatever 'fiscal conservatism' is, i agree with this guy!

  • Ron Paul is one of the few men with dignity and integrity in DC. Check out his voting record. He towers over the other sludge who worship the almighty buck and abuse power. RON PAUL KICKS ASS!

  • I may not agree with Ron Paul on some things, but I greatly respect him for not being a phony conservative.

  • With Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich the US has still the potential to elect good presidents.

  • Ron Paul for president!!

  • Copy and paste this to your fb status if you want the resolution to end the war to pass NOW, not after 2012:

If just 10 people spread this video on fb to 10 other people, with the instruction that if they agree that the Afghanistan withdrawal can and should begin responsibly ASAP, then they should pass the same instructions to 10 other people, then we would reach over 300 million of people in under 9 spreadings:

  • I can't believe we've been there for a decade. As our nation crumbles, it's comforting to know that at least our elected representatives will have been saved the embarrassment of doing the politically incorrect thing. You go, RP. Modern day Cassandra if there ever was one.

  • apparently the vote to withdraw from Afghanistan failed 93-321 against. 321 soulless warmongers. It seems more work will be needed to replace the scum with people that truly represent the American people.

  • @LeJimster 85 of those were democrats. 8 were republicans. republicans are only anti spending as long as its not going towards the military

  • We need to focus on the thing that we can agree on and accomplish right now: ending the war!

    Pass on this video!

  • @dopaminestriatum You actually believe that passing on a video will have any effect ? The distinction between your example, is the United States Government, has from the very start, wanted this war. So it shall remain so regardless of what the people want. We want to be in Libya as well as Iraq, Afghanistan and eventually Iran. Occupied Eurasia is the goal, 9/11 the excuse. spreading a video will not change a bloody thing. I suppose it is the SAFE, EASY method to protest. GOOD LUCK

  • @SethVandenberg All across the Middle East, the people are using the Internet to rise against illegitimate power (without the consent of the governed). "The government" isn't a monolithic thing...the only interests keeping us in Afghanistan are Congress "saving face." 93 Reps voted to end the war responsibly 3 days ago with zero media coverage.

  • @dopaminestriatum Most people now agree that we should withdraw ASAP and responsibly. The biggest obstacle standing in our way isn't Congress: it's our own distractibility, lack of focus, and defeatism. The people in the Middle East are no better than we are. If you want end the war, spread this video; don't just complain.

  • @SethVandenberg So, your advice is to either (1) choose the violent, difficult way, or (2) accept defeat? Consider that Rebecca Black got millions of views in a week because people passed on the stupid link to each other. Grow a pair and take 2 minutes to post the link on fb/twitter before you criticize me for both not doing enough and doing too much.

  • @dopaminestriatum Oh ! No No I would never advocate the "DIFFICULT WAY " I'm on your side. Blather away. " Grow a pair " LOL. Wow ! I just sent out 50 emails to this vid. I feel overwhelmingly MANLY ! It was ROUGH but I DID IT. If you really wanna change something, inform with the internet, then expect to get your ass beat. And yes I've paid a huge price for standing up. Your kind of naive .

  • @SethVandenberg Exponential growth is possible if enough people take 30 seconds to do their part. Spread the video to 10 people and tell them to do the same and you’re done, you’ve done your part to responsibly end the Afghan war. Otherwise, you have no right to complain.

  • @dopaminestriatum " 30 sec.. you've done your part to responsibly end the Afghan War " LOL ! You may walk with a clean conscience and reduce the severity of moral judgement by your peers, while in fact, remaining quite impotent. Gallup 2011 83 % of Americans are not happy with government. It is disheartening when so many feel that sending an email to their alleged Rep or passing on a vid of RP will have one iota of impact. I "complain" against inane prattle. STAY ANGRY past 30 sec.

  • Ron Paul Rules!!!

  • It fits in with our agnotologic capitalism. This is agnotologic politics that Paul d

    escribes.

    wikimedia(dot).org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Agnotology

  • Ron Paul KICKS ASS! RON PAUL IN 2012!!!!!!

  • I just wish RP would acknowledge the truth about 9/11. Al-CIA-da is in Langley Va., not Afghanistan. It's been proven that Osama bin Laden was, and is, a CIA asset and his code name is Tim Osman.

RP loses a lot of credibility with me for his denial of these facts.

Anyone who still believes the "official" story needs to get back to the pasture with the rest of the sheep.

Vote it down if you hate the truth...

  • @zz911wasInsideJobzz Well, which is more important: ending the Afghan war or pissing off the mainstream? First, worry about ending the war. Then we'll worry about the 9/11 story. Pass this video on if you want to end the war. 93 Representatives voted in favor of ending the war just 2 days ago, and that was without any coverage by the mainstream media. It's an achievable goal, so pass it on.

  • @dopaminestriatum I believe truth is the most important thing. When the mainstream is willing to acknowledge the truth, the wars will end and the real perpetrators will be brought to justice.

With that said, you are correct. I should have left off the insulting sheep comment. Sometimes my emotions get the best of me because I'm so passionate about this issue.

  • @zz911wasInsideJobzz " RP loses a lot of credibility with me for his denial of these facts " Ref. 9/11. That admission by Dr Paul would allow the Media to totally ignore all the great stuff he has to say. They would label him a nut job ! Is that what you want ? Most folks KNOW 9/11 was crap! Jeez dude, give the man a brake. He's been fighting the good fight since day one. I fucking pray he runs in 2012. Anyone who wouldn't vote for him has their collective heads up their dumb asses.

  • @SethVandenberg Don't wait for 2012 to end the Afghan war! Egypt fell in 18 days, because virtually everyone agreed that Mubarak needed to go. We don't have to have everyone agree on everything, we only have to agree on this! Congress should pass the resolution to responsibly end the Afghan war NOW, and we can get it done by passing on this video!

  • @dopaminestriatum I absolutely agree. Unfortunately, ending the war "NOW "and ending it " responsibly " are almost opposite ends of the spectrum. Most in Congress will agree it needs to end " responsibly "

to save face or placate their constituents. Who will agree " we just walked in, just walk out " NOW ! I will, and apparently 80% agree but Congress could give a crap what WE think.

  • @SethVandenberg Thousands of my fellow countrymen were murdered that day. I won't give any politician a break when they deny what really happened. You acknowledge the 9/11 story is BS while RP perpetuates the lie and then you call anyone who doesn't fully support him a dumb ass.

It's been 10 years! It's time for these politicians to stand up and speak the truth; but they won't because they ALL have the same agenda.

RP will co-opt you if you let him.

  • @zz911wasInsideJobzz Do you want progress in your support of Ron Paul, or do you want to be a counter-progressive prick? I can tell you which one will be more effective. And haven't you ever heard "an enemy of my enemy is my friend." ?

  • @deadflagbluesxxx "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" is a fundamental flaw of logic; it's not true.

RP does a lot of good things, but his denial of 9/11 doesn't pass the smell test. I won't sacrifice my principles on this issue so save your insults. Something is very wrong when our politicians deny what so many of us know to be the truth.

We're in multiple wars because of this very issue. How many more must die for your progress? But who cares as long as it's not you: right?

  • @zz911wasInsideJobzz "RP will co-opt ... " Really ? He is the ONLY one I am aware of who stated there needs to be another investigation. What would you have him do ? I know there appears to be a contradiction in my comment. Would you have me throw out the baby with the bath water ? If "Their"agenda" is to remain traitors what recourse do we have ? Blood ? Most American are flat ass stupid. The rest feel impotent, as do I. What exactly do we do ? I see no solution.THEY WON , and I fucking hate it

  • @SethVandenberg No Politician can save our country. That's false hope. Only the people can do that. How? We must change our lives of decadence, debauchery, etc.

“Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.” - Ben Franklin

Look at sport, entertainment, news, everything: look at everything we're inundated with everyday. We have lost our virtues and our country is finished unless we, the people, re-find them.

  • @zz911wasInsideJobzz Okay Amigo ! You have officially been moved from the " We'll see what he has to say ," to the confused person list"

  • @zz911wasInsideJobzz Nobody is with you, because it's not sensible. Not only would it destroy his reputation with the majority of Americans, it'd make him fringe and he'd probably lose his congressional seat as well. He's trying to get us OUT of both of those wars, regardless of what he believes we're over there for. He's the only presidential candidate that has the chance to do that. Let's clean up this bullshit mess and then the truth will come about 9/11. Get involved or get the fuck off.

  • Where will we get the money and the troops to fight a 3rd war? END THE FED AND THE UNDECLARED WARS WILL FOLLOW....RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT 2012

  • Comment removed

  • And now we're getting into Libya.

    YEA!

  • The only republican I would vote for over Obama.

  • RonPaul ... one of the few people in Congress that is worth listening to .

.. and one of the few people in Congress that is worthy of the position.

The Americans are lucky to have Ron Paul .. I wish we had had him in Europe.

Farage and Hannan come close .. but Ron Paul is supreme.

  • @AppreciateReality lol and you are the all enlightened oracle. Shut up and sit down.

  • The reason RP makes sense is because he hasn't been bought off by Corporate America. The only winners in these wars are Corporate America. Wake up, American's. Your representative does not represent YOU!

  • @czubspenx The reason Corporate America runs things is because no one passes along videos like this to their friends or family or other people. The corporate media didn't even cover the House resolution to get out of Afghanistan, which received 93 House votes 2 days ago.

If you want to end the war, pass this video along to your friends, even if it's awkward. This speech deserves a much bigger audience.

  • Yeh this is ridiculous Western nations should not have these endless wars. Get it over with. Bring the troops home - declare peace.

  • Dude's on fire...where will the warhawks turn when our economy implodes and we can't kill everyone who looks at us crooked in the future. How about when we can't address real threats?

Neoconservatives (and they exist in both the GOP and the Dem party) are absolutely destroying this country in every way possible. Meanwhile, assholes keep sniping about NPR funding--who gives a fuck about "Fresh Air" when this country is imploding? Not anybody with any sense, that's for sure.

  • Strip the Nobel Peace prize away from that phoney Obama and give it to this man.

  • jesus<Ron Paul

  • You go Ron Paul! Expose these fake fiscal conservatards as the fascist corporate whores that they really are.

  • Bring all our troops home before we cut one single domestic program. 730 American military bases through out the world is accomplishing nothing for us. Bring them home ASAP.

  • Y'know, if more people passed on videos like this via facebook, gmail, twitter, etc. like we did with Rebecca Black, maybe we would actually pull out of Afghanistan instead of getting mad and then doing nothing.

  • "Societies in decline have no use for visionaries."

    — Anaïs Nin

  • @Psitoad Sad but true.

  • Arabs don't like foreign boots on their soil ... this revolution is the perfect time to withdraw.

  • Genius! Every point out of debate. Afghanistan has ended the worlds most powerful empires from Alexander's Macedonia to the British somewhat and the USSR and now us. What should allow us to win there? The Taliban want us out. When we promise to leave, they'll stop. Sure there are Al-Qaeda memebers in it but very few and all the other fighters will have deserted them.

  • Another thing, these old men who are busting are country out have NO IDEA what they're up against. This isn't going to continue forever....the new generations are way more liberal and engaged than ever before. This will end.

  • all these oligarchs should be strung up for their crimes.

  • Ron Paul is our best shot at true change in our country.

  • the guy is just right on. america, please wake up. thank you.

  • Sun Tzu- Master of Warfare and tactics said in BC:

"If the campaign is protracted, the resources of the State will not be equal to the strain.",

    and

"There is no instance of a country having benefited from prolonged warfare."

These words hold as much truth today as they did back then. WHY, do our leaders fail to realize these words of wisdom? I'm for us getting Osama, but you send a man to kill a man... not an Army.

  • @AppreciateReality LOL he has an idea, he just would rather keep his business to himself.

  • It's time to be sensible and fix what we have let be ruined. Get rid of those abusing power and not resolving issues, driven by self interests.

  • This is one of his most convincing and logical speeches i have heard in a while.

  • Ron Paul 2012. Not the perfect candidate but the best one out there compared to the other trash infecting Capital Hill.

  • Ron Paul - RIGHT AGAIN

  • it's going to be the end of the world if we don't get out of other countries.

  • Federal and STATES shouldnt regulate marriage

  • Wow. I never thought I'd say it, but here is an educated, logical, well speaking American politician...WIN! I have no idea of his beliefs or political standing but golly - someone understands!

  • As much as we love Ron Paul, let's face it, he won't get the top seat, his changes would mean a loss of control of the neo-cons, no more Fed, REAL peace, less/no war profit, less/no weapons sales to crooked foreign US backed dictators, and fiscal responsibility. The people currently in power would never let this happen.

  • war. what is it good for?

  • @Leofus1986 absolutely nothing.

  • so when are we going to try George Bush for crimes against humanity ? I mean we killed so many civilian in Iraq and afghanistan but apparently we weren't at war with them.

  • @catch22af You'll have better luck finding him an shooting him, his family is so damn rich they'd pay off any accusations

  • rational and intelligent arguments have no place in political discourse...thumbs down

  • @crazyCA12 yet many of the founding fathers fully supported religions like Islam, saying they have many great lessons to teach, now america is totally flipped, most of america hates muslim and religions like that. Opersonally I dont think we should be bringing religion into debate at all, when I meet someone I meet them as a human being straight up.

  • @Fiercefighter2 We should only bring religion into the discussion when the person wants to enforce his personal flavor of religion in government. Also crack open a history book, or read the letters our founding fathers wrote. Then maybe you can form a competent response. Only the fact so many people downvoted that shows how many of you are moronic.

  • @crazyCA12 its not thier fault, mainstream media has everyone asleep

  • yessssssssssssssssssss

  • First sane Republican in close to 50 years. He just summarized my main arguments with most mainstream policy stances on the war in one speach.

  • perfect.

  • Fucking goddam thank you.

  • Ill vote!!!!! Who's with me!

  • He speaks the truth!

  • Paul is the man

  • GODDAMN RIGHT RP!!!now that's how an American president should be!!!

  • brilliant

  • I feel very strongly that he is right on this issue. Its important to abide by the war powers act and also work to create a more constitutionally run system. I'd like to thank Dr. Paul for standing up for the constitution and keeping other politicians in check. It would also be good to see significant troop reductions by 2012.

  • it's alllll just demonstration of power. if we don't demonstrate our power, that will make some people feel their little previous egos becoming vulnerable.

  • fuck yeah

  • Lets GTFO!

  • Is there some way I could watch CSPAN online? Also, almost right on time with him making the 39 second mark

  • It confuses me a bit that a decidedly conservative country doctor from blahblah Texas is our best hope for ending these absurd wars. I'm all in for Ron Paul's foreign policy.

  • Paul-Romney 2012

  • @didjamatic lol i hope that's a joke

  • @didjamatic Fuck the NeoCon Romney

    Paul/Kuscinich or Paul/Sanders.

Unite the Right and Left and RAPE the Banksters and Lobbyists who are looting the system.

  • @russkeller Romney knows how to recover businesses from financial ruin, which is some of the expertise we need right now. Romney for our financial recovery and a complete rebalance of our books, Paul for everything else.

  • @didjamatic He HAA HAHAHA

Romney and the other So Called Conservative "Buisnessmen" are Cronie Capitalists not buisnessmen. They make their businesses money by stealing from tax payers. Fuck romney with a barbwire dick

  • @didjamatic no way... romney? no chance.

  • looks like 2 neo-cons are butt-hurt.

  • Why isn't this guy 30 years younger? We need Ron Paul for a long time.

  • @oisiaa once upon a time he was 30 years younger, but the American people ignored him

  • @oisiaa We do have Ron Paul for a long time. His name is Rand Paul.

  • Ask for a commitment Ron.

  • As much as I have disagreed with Paul in the past year, this is why we need him. Saying we need to cut our military but keep things that really help our people.

  • smartest man in government. if he becomes president, america will recover and prosper.

  • As long as R.P. doesn't push for a christian America, I'm ok with him being president.

Also, Al Qaeda doesn't even exist. It was a rouse to get us over there.

  • I agree with pretty much anything Ron Paul ever says. But his stance on no regulation is a bit stupid, sorry.

  • @youngsportsguru I can see where you might have this outlook that regulation is necessary, by looking at "unregulated" industries and seeing how much they have screwed up. The issue isn't lack of regulation, it is simultaneously an issue of these industries still being not fully deregulated and of regulation in other industries pushing and skewing incentives. As a country we have to either regulate all private industry manipulating incentives to match the right outcome, or full deregulation.

  • @etodez So are you proposing that deregulation would work?

  • You got Obama turning right and republicans turning left. America is ruled by a fake conflict between two parties who are mostly the same. I feel sorry for you.

  • No one dislikes this opinion.

  • @VanostranIV sucks to me us sometimes

  • LISTEN TO THIS MAN

  • I hope he runs for office again.

  • We must leave Afghanistan and Iraq. We need to focus on that which matters.

  • well said. well said.

  • If he runs again for 2012 I'm going to do WAYYY more than just donating money like I did last time.

  • How is that republicans allow someone this intelligent and cogent in their party?

  • @brncarlisle713 He slipped through the cracks. Make no mistake, republicans don't like him much either. They booed him at CPAC, and fox news shut him out completely during the 08 election. It's amazing how he's saying the same things and using the same rhetoric of the left during Bush's 8 years. Apparently these ideas only make sense to people when they're coming out of the mouth of a registered republican.

  • @favianutube They didn't boo him this year at CPAC when he won. If you're referring to the Fox News report you should know that they used a different sound bite for the crowd. See here... Busted: Fox news CPAC Ron Paul Video Deception

  • @fillymandee I'm aware of that. More Fox News nonsense. Anyway, that's not what i'm referring to. I'm referrign to the fact that during the 08 election Fox News systematically shut him out and outright made him look like a ridiculous fringe candidate, altogether depriving him of screentime or cutting him off completely when he spoke in a debate or a public speech. He's too radical for the republican establishment, especially considering they're ideas the left were pushing years ago.

  • RON PAUL 2012

  • I am more and more glad every day that I donated $500 to Ron Paul's campaign and wrote him in on my presidential ballot.

  • Ron Paul is my idol..

  • @pigargon

idolizing a politician under any circumstances is inherently undemocratic.

  • People need to start waking up and realize this man is trying to do the actual change Obama promised you sheep!!

    RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • Ron Paul and Kucinich should start something called the No Brand Party. They agree on a lot, they disagree on a lot, but what they have in common is that they both think, and both are courageous and forthright. The No Brand Party would have no special ideology: it would attract other THINKING men and women, and mock the fact that the words Democrat and the Republican have become nothing more than logos, like Coke and Pepsi bottles, except that instead of sugar water, they carry cash.

  • @psgrenier Now we're making sense. This is great. But who says they have to start it? Lets get this thing rolling right now. Let's take some of their sensible ideas and use that as our platform. I really like this. You have me thinking. This is exciting.

  • @psgrenier Mike Gravel, too.

  • Ron Paul 2012!!!!

  • Great. But does anyone do what he says? I have seen many of these Ron Paul videos, everyone praises him. Everyone supports him, yet NOTHING changes. I think the only solution is to take to the streets and protest against a government that does not represent the people.

  • @refriaire That's a DANGEROUSLY Jeffersonian argument, sir.

  • Eisenhower tried to warn us. But our blind patriotism and uneducated public has brought that warning to a harsh reality.

  • I'm a social liberal, but I would've voted for Ron Paul over Obama.

  • Give tax breaks to rich, cut funding for schools and NPR.

  • He makes so much sense, unlike pretty much all other politicians.

  • Ron Paul is the only reason why I'm still registered Republican.

  • Ron Paul is our last hope. Most politicians are just in the pocket of the wealthy corporations who want to continue to see their wealth. It is time to wake up America, or else things will continue to get worse.

  • Please stop spreading disinformation. His personal belief is that homosexual marriage is wrong however he doesn't believe the federal government has a constitutional right to state whether it should be legal or illegal, wrong or right. Politicians can have personal beliefs yet still get it right when knowing not to pass laws on their beliefs.

  • @divad78 - obama shares that same belief, so the left should question themselves for having voted him in.

  • Another point on that issue--What happened to the anti-war left? Silenced by Obama. What happened to closing Gitmo? Obama reneged. What is happening to Bradley Manning? Obama, God, and a few military personnel only know.

Obama has won the Noble Peace Prize while being engaged in 2 wars. He also won an award for transparency whilst condemning Wikileaks and torturing Pvt. Manning. And yes, as President of the USA he is directly responsible for treatment of US military personnel.

  • @divad78 He differentiates between law and personal liberty. His personal beliefs are irrelevant.

  • @divad78 One of the myriad things I really respect about Ron Paul is that he has his beliefs that I may cringe at, but he sets them aside when it comes to doing his job properly and constitutionally. Thank you for pointing that out divad78.

  • @divad78 But he's wrong on that issue. Constitution guarntees everyone equal rights. He's the guy who always says if we live by the constitution everything will work out. Except for the gays evidently...

  • @madest You are misinterpreting how he believes it should work. The federal government should make no law that establishes what is right or wrong with marriage. Therefor it is left up to the states. However if the states make a law that is unconstitutional then the solution is the court system, not congress writing laws. So if laws banning same sex marriage are unconstitutional then the court system fixes it. RP believes that is how it should be taken care of which supports the constitution.

  • @divad78 Problem with your theory is the government already has. Rush Limbaugh has married 5 times and all his marriages have been legal in all 50states. No other contract between two entities dies at the border of a state. Get educated.

  • @madest I definitely agree that if the states or federal government recognize partnerships or marriages then they should be legal for anyone including same sex ones. However that is why I don't believe the state or federal government should be recognizing them at all. There should only be a contract for two people (or more) that grants certain privileges, ie providing health care for, making life/death decisions etc etc. That contract would be more of a civil issue however.

  • @divad78 Then what happens to the people who are already married legally? There are many same sex couples who are legally married and had their ceremony performed in a Church. Would straight couples who were married in front of a justice of the peace no longer be considered "married"?

  • @divad78 The problem with his logic is that if he truly believes that government has no place in the legal union of a same-sex couple is that if he were consistent then he would say that government has no place in any legal union. If a man and a woman get special financial benefits from marriage then why can't a same sex couple get the same benefits? The real answer is to abolish all tax breaks for marriage (everyone would have to file separately), and any other tax advantage for ANY marriage.

  • @karinablacktie The real problem is that this guy is genuine, and unfortunately most Americans are too dumb to realize this, instead they will vote for the typical Obama/Bush politician who perpetuate the same policies.

  • @karinablacktie Have you heard the term: marriage penalty? Married couple pay more tax than two separate person (not married file separately). Please be careful about what you say here. Otherwise, it sounds silly.

  • @shongrong Most married people filing jointly will pay less taxes than two non-married people filing separately. I have a degree in mathematics and have worked for tax accountants. I know my facts.

  • @karinablacktie You don't have to have a degree in mathematics to do a simple 1040 lol In fact, you wasted your time in school if your preparing 1040's for a living. Oh yea, I'm a CPA.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • Just throwing this out there... Ron Paul is AGAINST public health care.

  • @Hateocracy And homosexual marriage.

    some libertarian he is.

  • @Hateocracy Ron Paul is AGAINST government health care. Go back to school my friend.

  • @Hateocracy

To quote Ron Paul directly from his website: "All it does is perpetuate a flawed system by forcing everyone to become a client of insurance companies, even those who don’t want to or need to participate."

He's against Obama Care, not necessarily public health care.

  • @Hateocracy which is a good thing. Public Health Care = money we DO NOT HAVE

  • @jlaz11 Yeah, but of course you have $60 million to casually throw away in Libya for missiles?

  • @Hateocracy The Health Care Reform is going to cost 1 Trillion dollars. I'm not sure the last time you did your math, but 60 million is 0.00006% of The Health Care Reform. Your argument is invalid
