jeezerzeus that was exactly what i was gonna say. He NEVER acknowledges Dashboard as an influence TO THIS DATE. I wish they would interview Chris Carrabba and be like, "So, what do you think of Secondhand Serenade?"

dashboard has a deeper meaning to the words. you really have to look deep into the metaphors to know what im saying.. listen to the song dont wait by dashboard. other then that I still think john is a better musician and his words are more direct (:

His music means so much more than Dashboard's. I mean yes I do like Dashboard but come on, John's voice is so amazing.

When I saw him live over here in New Mexico and every song that he did acoustically gave me the chills and if an artist can do that to anyone they make true beautiful music.

He came here over summer. With The Graduate, Rookie Of The Year, My American Heart, and PlayRadioPlay! I think it it was like July 18th? ish? Hahaha I don't exactly remember. I'm definitely going to see him again in december.

dashboard is good...But he is definatly a good live performer...when you see dashboard singing live...You never know when dashboard's vocals will be up to par...Dashboard's real inconsistant..I have heard like 2 performances where they Db sounds like the cd....And John looks way more into it...he's passionate about the music and I hope that doesn't change

Which dashboard songs are you listening to? Because part of the reason i love them so much is that he doesn't really try to rhyme. Try "hands down"... maybe one rhyme the whole song.

difference between him and dashboard is their live performances. he sounds exactly the same live as he does on the cd. dashboard...not so much. plus he does it all by himself. hes like trent reznor from Nine inch nails.

I'd say Dashboard is better live. The thing I instantly notice about Secondhand is that there's so much autotune used in the studio to get that really glassy smooth tone on record, it leaves the live performance showing his true voice to sound a bit different. Not bad, just different.

chris carraba is differ from john vesely... chris carrabba have a powerful voice and john vesely have a high noted voice.... but they are both awesome!!!!
