  • Next time we play Battlefield with real guns

  • One question. How would you do if you have to play three notes together? e.i. orange red green while

  • @matuchip You would hold down the strings that correspond to those colors, they would all play together. Thanks for watching.

  • It would be funny if you accidently electrified the strings and got shocked lol.

  • @RoyalG13 Then I could go out like a real rock star!

  • @ohmer2 hahaha

  • @RoyalG13 thats what i was thinking

  • can i use the electric guitar?

  • As long as the bridge and bridge saddle are not metal, it would work. If they were metal or "conductive", then all the frets would play at same time. Good luck and have fun!

  • Yours is a lot more explanitory than HouseHoldHacker. subbed :)

  • Thanks. That was the reason I made this version. Take care!

  • you too :)

  • i want to see trough the fire and the flames on expert on that thing XD

  • Now THAT would be a challenge! :)

  • Yours is the 3rd such request. I can barely make it through on the regular controller on that song though. :)

  • how do you jused the wamybar?

  • he didnt

  • haha a gameboy lol

    nice tutorial dude

  • im not sure but, wont the electricity go through the wires to the strings nd shock u?

Anyway thats not bad, i would try it but im too afraid that it may ruin my electric guitar.

  • it will not shock you. Mine doesn't.

  • then dont do it? how about you play it with a controller or a regular guitar hero controller? haha

  • why would you want to play guitar hero with guitar hero controller?

  • thanx i could do that one day :)

  • heperdiaculery no dick guy you fucking broke my godd damm fucking controller now thanks to you u have to buy a fucking new goddd damm controler you hairlesss bitch cock sucking tity licking asshole get a fucking life no one fucking likes so fyi go suck some big hairy balls

  • well mabe if u followed the instroctions correctly your controler wouldnt be broken u know it wouldnt hurt to pay a little more attention every once in a while

  • What's the point? Why not play a real guitar the normal way?

  • yawn

  • Not bad for a Saturday morning "I'm bored" project don't ya think?

  • dont listen to them there just a bunch of haters thats a cool techniqe

  • doesnt play like a real guitar, fail

  • you could jsut play a real guitar you know

  • yeah but the main point of this is to experiement with fun modifications of a guitar, not to play guitar

  • Can I use electrical tape for the wires since I don't have a sautering iron?

  • I don't think that would work. The wires would fall out probably. Check out walmart or radio shack for a cheap soldering iron for about $7.00 US. Good luck.

  • its called a soldering iron not a sautering iron. just so you know.

  • ive read it many times and im still alive now go die rumor spreader your just scaring people to make sure the comment goes around

  • Retard fuck off I and everyone on else are sick of the fucking comments now go die in a fucking a put.

  • a put?

  • Thanks, good luck to you.

  • wow! very helpful! more helpful then household hacker! Uve inspired me to try it!!!!!!

  • Cool dude! You are so good to learn away, !

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed. :)

  • nice video. i will try it. you are better to explane then another on youtube. 5/5

  • Thanks, have fun, and ask questions if ya need to. Enjoy!

  • Ok, I did this on a bored Saturday. I edited it down for time purposes only. Why would I want to "fool" anyone here? The whole process is very simple actually. You can use any game system that you want. All that you are doing is soldering in the wires to the buttons on the controller, and extending them out to the metal guitar strings. The wires attached to the tin foil pic are the ground. So when you touch the ground to the strings, you have made the switch, it's very easy. Enjoy the video.

  • Yes, u waste your time if u dont show us the whole thing that u spent hours to do. i recommend that u do another video which show the link when u are playing gitar hero , and where there is not a PS2 control, proving your words so we will know the truth.

  • he said it olny took 30 mins

  • I tried it on my electric as well. The problem with my electric was the string saddle was metal, which bridged together all the wires, and each time you would strum, all the fret colors would play at once. If your electric guitar has a plastic string saddle, then it would work.

  • dows it work for an electric guitar too

  • hum this looks like a good way TO MESS UP YOUR CONTROLLER AND GUTAIR dont u think

  • I accidently erased my reply, but it was to the effect that it was real, no damage, and would have thrown the controller away anyway. Thanks for the comments.

  • in 30 minutes

  • 0:30 hour

  • u suck man if was real u would show us all the link that u did in the 0:30 minutes to make sure that we will belive it. wouldn't u?

  • It was real, why would I post something fake to waste my time and yours. It was edited to not take one second longer than needed to show all the steps. Plus I am not a proffesional videographer, just messing around on a bored Saturday. Don't hate!

  • Hi youboo, It would work on all the guitar heros, and it would technically work on any game, but would seem kinda silly to be strumming a guitar while playing Grand Theft Auto. :-)

  • is GH3 the only game that you can play with a real Guitar on the PS2?

  • is that real it kinda looks fake

  • It's very real. All your doing is making the metal guitar strings the buttons of the controller.

  • omg that is one of the best idea in year 2008

  • Thanks, and it was fun! Merry Christmas to all.

  • 5:50

  • that was sick

  • Thats so cool. I saw a guy do this BUT made real noises with a guitar hero controller... i don't know how he did it but it's awesome, keep rockin'!

  • Thats the guitarist of Powerglove your talkin bout.

  • David crowder is the guy im talking about

  • Is it the same guy?

  • you outline the time and copy and paste it on coment section why thank me

  • 5:50 /

  • Anyone care to explain the linkable time comments?

  • 5:09

  • huh?

  • Thank you for posting this vid; before this, I could only find this mod with the Xbox 360. :D

  • Your welcome.

  • wow, ok....feel better? I do play real guitar, and I play Guitar Hero occasionally. Why must it be one or the other? Why be so closed minded? Thanks for the wonderful comment anyway.

  • lol nice response

  • Wow, that's awesome! It must be pretty hard to play it though...

  • Thanks. Yeah, it was pretty tricky, but didn't take too long to get used to.

  • Depending on how many fret colors you wire in (like if you only wired in green, red, yellow to the guitar strings), then you could wire in the whammy (which is the left analog up button) to the 4th string. You would have to hold down the fret being played, and the whammy string for it to work though. :)

Also, the star power is the select button, which you could wire into the 5th string.

  • How do I do the star power and whammy?

  • haha :P.. good lil gimic :P

  • awesome...but instead of a lousy foil covered pick...do a search on ebay for Mojo Pick..they make silver guitar picks out of old silver coins...use your wire on that and it should work for a long time...

  • Hey cool idea, thanks.

  • this really works aha that's fucked, pretty fun once you get the hang of it...and if you have patience haha

  • i thought i was gonna get rick rolled xD

  • so did i

  • now lets see someone do this on through fire and flames expert

  • I couldn't even do that on a regular GH guitar! :) It would indeed be challenging.

  • wow, pensé que no lo lograria pero al fin pude, gracias!!!

  • Your welcome

  • you are a genius

  • Thanks.

  • and its on easy i give this video a thumbs down

  • You can use easy, medium, hard, expert, what ever you want. I chose easy for instructional purposes.

  • if it was fake, then whyu would he waste 7 minuites of his life for nothin?

  • I tried it on my electric as well. The problem with my electric was the string saddle was metal, which bridged together all the wires, and each time you would strum, all the fret colors would play at once. If your electric guitar has a plastic string saddle, then it would work.

  • can u use an electrik gtar

  • personally (I don't have guitar hero, but I mean in theory) i'd wire it differently, I'd make the middle string the ground, pick would be, well, the pick, and for the 5 fret buttons I just put 5 pieces of tin foil on the neck

if you push down the center wire on the right spot (right above the "button") the fret lights up in the game, and if you use the pick the note gets played

  • Yeah cause the last time I knew current traveled through Nylon guitar strings

  • The strings are metal not Nylon.

  • what about whammy?

  • FFAAAKKEE

  • Definately wasn't fake.

  • Check out my guitar video, and see how the Original, real guitar controller looks like ;)

  • that is awesome

  • is that a ps1 controller?

  • imagine through the fire and flames on expert

it would be pretty fun to try that

  • wow, that would be challenging:)

  • thts pretty kool

    take mor practice tho

  • NAD where is orange???

  • I believe the orange is on the x button, I did not wire because I only played on easy at that time.

  • ........useless.. why mess with a real guitar for a game.

  • It was just for fun, made it harder and more realistic. Sorry you didn't approve.

  • sick

  • "button action" lol

  • awesome, that was...cool. :P

  • no offence nice but ur like a hacker or a geek but nice vid!

  • HOLY CRAP

  • whos smart YOU ARE

  • awsome

  • w0000000000000000000000000000000000ooooooooooooooooow!!!

  • niiiiiiiiice

  • can you do it w/an electric guiotar? i have both, but, just wondering.

  • I tried it on my electric as well. The problem with my electric was the string saddle was metal, which bridged together all the wires, and each time you would strum, all the fret colors would play at once. If your electric guitar has a plastic string saddle, then it would work.

  • Any easy way to play on electric is to not turn on ur elctric guitar...

  • What does turning on/off your electric guitar change?

  • my answer is it would change nothing at all, because the strings and string saddle are still metal, power applied or not.

  • According to his post, I think he thinks the strings energize when you plug in the guitar... :D

  • hahaha i think ur right XD

  • that looks freaken hard to do

  • will this ruin the electric guitar if u do something wrong

can u use ur guitar afterwards

  • You do not modify your guitar at all. You just wrap the wires from the controller around the metal strings to conduct, thats it!

  • awsome man household hacker made something like this but they are bitch cakes and put a fake way they wanted u to fuck up ur shit but i knew better lmao

  • i do that!!

  • thats sick!! i might try it..
