HPI Baja 5B SS - 30,5ccm Race Ported - Break in

i broke in the engine of my baja 30.5cc as drive it but no going over half throttle and make sure its on the road this isn't how to break in a baja engine you obvs didnt read manual or look up a good way didn't you

Try priming it ........or choke

That's not how you break a petrol in, you simply drive it around at a low speed for a tank. It aint a nitro.

@Beinl Das ist kein Problem, der motor geht einfach aus, weil er keinen Sprit hat und dann kannst du ihn anschließend auftanken und weiter fahren. Der Motor kriegt dann für minimal kurze Zeit zwar keine Schmierung mehr, aber das ist völlig egal

Also man sollte den Motor kurz mal im Standgas laufen lassen, dann langsam rumtuckern mit wenig Drehzahl und nach 10 Minuten dann schon etwas schneller fahren und nach einem halben oder 3/4 Tank kann man schon mehr Gas geben und beim 2. Tank kannst dann schon langsam vollgas geben.

30.5cc kit and a stock pipe.. that thing you have on that is not really a pipe.. muffler. anyways as i was saying get a new pipe man.. get the speed you desurve you building a very nice baja! (:

i build in a new motor in the baja. It's not a complete new model...

you mean spark plug.... Glow plugs are for nitro

Thx man just saved me a few bucks...also a friends of mine bought the 36mm piston and cylinder& dominator for his 23cc, susprisingly i was faster although i have the 26cc stock/dominator...!

Could u plz tell me the difference between ported/unported? (in power& meaning) and y is there a difference in price?

The price is a bit higher an ported means, that the inner motorparts are flow-optimated. The fuel and fuems have a better flow because of some milled gaps. I don't feel much of it, but it sounds nice in the name xD

Too much fuel, I took the glowplug out, pulled a few times, to get the fuel out of the motor an then it worked nicely. :)

Na bei 30,5ccm ist das auch kein Wunder das der so eine Kompression hat. Du hast die Kiste aber nicht im stand einlaufen lassen oder? Das ist nämlich garnicht gut für den Motor

Passt schon, eine halbe Stunde bei leichten Gasstößen und er läuft auch heute noch richtig geil ;)
