Skyrim? Game of the year? IGN whatcha smoking? Skyrim was fun, but considering all the bugs and the hard freezes that many PC users encountered, that takes away from the fun very quickly.

The main questline was good, but once you complete it, the other quests are all very similiar copy & paste, with little effort.

Skyrim the game of the year? Perhaps, but then 2011 should be remembered as a shitty year for games. Skyrim was fun, but after a month you'll get tired of this game quickly.

Only thing I got after ridding Skyrim of the rebellion was a pathetic Elven Sword (not even magical) and a pat in the back.

Great game? Crashes so often I couldn't play it (and I have a well maintened uber pc).

Immersive? All guards were adventurers that got an arrow in the knee. Great graphics? Yeah, couldn't even be bothered to have high res textures for the pc. Animation? Just kill a monster and see it fly! Plus bears are tougher than dragons...

Skyrim has tons of content but it quickly becomes repetitive and rather dull. The story doesn't make you feel like you actually did something and you are left feeling detached to the whole thing really. Not to mention as soon as you get into enchanting/alchemy your gear/character become too powerful and the game just gets boring. You could ignore those skills but I already lost interest in the game. It was a let down IMO. I try to get back into skyrim but... it feels pointless once I'm in-game.
