It's a shame they're out - I missed the show last night and everything... but normally I'm really 'meh' with the Viennese Waltz and it bores me a bit, but these two convinced me to love it, just like with the Charleston and nearly every dance they've done...

bit too much swing and sway for me- it's like a see-saw. But still a very pretty VW and Ali looks just like Cinderella in that dress.

It doesnt matter if it was boring or not, which I dont think it was but everyone has there own opinion. It was marked on technical corrrectness and for that it was perfect. Dances like Ricky W's quickstep can be spectatcular but not technically sound . This was well work the 40. Go ali and brian.

I agree with luxxxul, it was good but really boring. Didn't hold my interest at all, and not just cos it's a viennese waltz, there have been plenty in the past that were much more interesting. The pair of them just seem so bland, it's hard to stay interested in any dance they do. It takes a real talent to make a paso dull, but they managed that last week.

Yes its not a latin american dance, theres no oommh to it, its just graceful and boring like ballet but takes a bit of skill to be this boring!

I think you fail to realise that:

1) The judges see a different show to waht we do, they actually feel the atmosphere.

2) The camera does not let us see all of the dance.

3) The viennese waltz is a hard dance to make exciting with only three steps to it.

I agree, amanda; after last week's travesty, she deserved everything she got. Beautiful, graceful, all that a Viennese Waltz should be. Ali has become my strong tip for the title!!

It's a shame that the judge's comments and scores aren't part of this vid.

I hope that she can continue with this standard and give Ricky Whittle a run for his money, as well as Jade. They are my top three.

This dance was so beautiful and graceful, and it's great to see someone knock Ricky W off the top of the leader board, he isn't the only great dancer there and Ali showed that, all in all totally worth 40 marks and excellently danced, plus great choreography Brian!!!
