  • I mean for the gun what did you use?

  • wait what kind of paper was that??

  • this looks really cool. I think I might do something like this. Except, not with pictures of guns...

  • you shouldve shown what is looks like after like 10 washes

  • @ankushthebest OH NO! i READ IT!! HELP ME!!!

  • can i use freezer paper??

  • @DeeDank Yeh, the freezer paper is for stenciling, tho.

  • @HedgeTV excellent, did you say yo can draw straight on the transfer paper

  • @scorps59 I don't know if I did or not, but you can.

  • could you use these with DIY patches?

  • @johnedmiston123234 yeh, easy.

  • @HedgeTV thx i'll definitely try it

  • Comment removed

  • is it okay to wash it?

  • @libraalbert91 Yeh, but you should wash it inside out.

  • @HedgeTV thanks , and keep the good work up

  • отличное видео многое узнал от тебя Hedge =)

  • Hey Hedge,

Nice video! I looked this "Avery" brand up, and it says that you have to have a printer or software that can make the image a mirror image. I was gonna make a Germs T-Shirt, so do I need to make it into a mirror image?

    Thanks.

  • @wallasham the ones for dark T-Shirts do not gotta flip the image. Easiest way to flip yer picture without photo editing stuff is in Paint.

  • @HedgeTV

Do you have to use dark shirts or can you use light colored shirts too? To me, the Avery transfers for light and dark shirts don't seem like they have any difference.

  • @stolencheezburger yeh, there a lot diffrent actually. Make sure you get the right kind...altho the ones for dark shirts would probly work on light ones just fine, but not vice versa.

  • @HedgeTV

    Ok thanks.

  • You look awesome dude =O can i have your tattoos? :3 ill gives you my electric guitar for free haha kidden not as if your g

  • i gotta question bout this.

do you gotta wash it a special way the first time you wash it (or everytime you wash it) cuz i know with screen printing you have to....but yeah

  • @lusefer Yeh, it's best to wash it on gentle, an inside out.

  • what happend to part 2!!!

or did i just miss it? cuz i didn't see it on the play list

  • @lusefer haaaa! Actually it's what's comin up next on my DIY list...yeh, it took me a little while.

  • 9:08 WTH :D

  • cool vid!!!

  • u should get some better lighting. other than that great vid

  • making tshirts is so punk rock... :) haha

  • HIS TAT WAS THE FIRST THING I SAW

  • hahahahahaha doc! CYBER five!

  • is that the tod (srubs) doc tattooo?????

    crayyzzee

  • hi edge .. can I ask .. umm .. did you use a normal bond paper or was a tracing paper ? reply ASAP ^_^ . tnx

  • Its transfer paper what's made for ironing on fabric.

  • MCFLY!!!!!!

  • Wish i had a cool dad like you D:

  • what type of ink did you use?

  • Um, it's a fabric paint marker...that's all I know.

  • i use stencils

  • i have a Dead kennedys t shirt didn't cost so much lol

  • so using the Avery 3279 Dark T-Shirt Transfers, only works on dark shirts or light shirts too, as shown in your video

  • Yeh, works fine on light fabric...jus remember that the unprinted background is gonna be white.

  • you guys are all a bunch of fucking hypocrites this guy taught me how to spike my leather jacket make my own patches and when i go to Walmart next time i might as well pick up this dark shirt transfer so all of you fuck off

  • your video is so boring

  • hey, I got the same avery black t-shirt transfer thingy from Walmark.. mine has 5 normal printing papers, 5 tissue papers and 1 peel off paper.. i'm confused, which one should i take the print on.. after seeing your video looks like I can only make one t-shirt from my package.. but it says '5 sheets'.. can you help please? a little urgent..

  • Um, the tissue is to put between the iron an the design...but you sure it's normal paper? Cuz that don't make sense. I dint get any plain paper in mine...ever.

  • nice. but does the design comes off when you wash it?

  • Nah, but it gets crackly over time.

  • where can you but the paper thingy?

  • cheap spray paint

  • u kno u can also make patches with those transfers

  • Dude..

    Thanks a lot..

    This video was really helpful..

  • i make a Stencil with casual paper pint it with acrylic paint and then iron it!! and donde!

  • I really prefer to use stencils.

  • all ur videos r gud i subscribed ;}

  • GREAT video This will come in handy when our Organization starts to make T-shirts, thanks a lot!

  • Nice product

tho I don't buy at wal mart my self

  • It's Avery, you can get em wherever you get office supplies.

  • do those transfer thingy work on sweat shirts?

and in what section in wal-mart did you find that

  • Yeh, it'll work fine on a sweatshirt...I got them in the same place as the photo paper.

  • awesome! :D Makes me wanna print a t-shirt, but I live in Sweden so I don't know if I can use the same product as you...

Anyway, your video was entertaining and interesting!

  • were you get those plain shirts?

  • You can get em jus about anwhere what sells clothes.

  • hey my name is avery just like that t-shirt thing

  • Wow, that's kinda creepy.

  • HAHA I luv it !!....helped a loadd thanks !

  • Cool, thanx for watchin, PreppyDude!

  • hey i think u iron it on then peal the paper off but i dont no i dont "make" my shirts this way

    p.s. love the tatts

  • Hey, thanx for watchin. If you use this stuff, follow the directions on the pack...it's a little diffrent.

  • I'm gona make some 4 my band

  • wait was that reg paper or something else

i have a big and comlex picture do u think it will turn out good

any way thx for the vid and sorry for bothering u ;)

  • It's an iron-on transfer that you print on like paper...anything you can print on paper, you can print on this stuff.

  • Haha; Your funny.

    & Cute.

Thnx for the vid; it helped.

  • invest in a heat press it will save you alot of time. buy a sunie their cheap and work good

  • u said make shirt for your own band, then hey maybe i should do that too...u got a band? if so u should totally post a vid, and if you have ive prolly yet to see it, just now stumbled on ur channel

  • how does the transferred image hold up against a washing machine?...i assume that not washing the shirt is recommended

  • Well, after many washes, my image has gotten all crackly.

  • i turn mine inside out, it makes em last a littl longer

  • Where Can i Get tht From...Because I'm The UK and i asked around and no1 has them...

    HELP!!!

  • Wow...over there, I dunno. Try office supply places.

  • would it ever take off when you"ll

  • Huh?

  • My clothes are awesome thanks to you. I KNOW I would have fucked this up had I not watched this. Thanks.

    DIY!

Also, a tip. (lots of people are asking) Dry the shirt inside out, or better yet, don't put in the dryer. It'll won't get as crackly.

  • That's true...should also be WASHED inside out...thanx for watchin!

  • Fabric Markers, Sharpies and Spraypaint work pretty good.

and I make stencils out of construction paper...or if I'm lazy, I'll free hand.

  • Yeh, I do stuff free hand too...thanx for watchin!

  • use something like manilla folders

    they hold up really well

and you can get alot for very cheap

  • Made a T-shirt whit Michael Fox!

  • you're cool..=]

    thankzz..

  • how do u wash it without the design washing off?>

  • It's made for fabric, so it washes pretty well...but over time, the image gets kinda crackly.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • OMG Mini Moose!!!!! hahaha

  • Excellent! I found these instructions easier to follow than the ones on the sheet they came with.

    Shame about the Mini-moose shirt.

  • oh wicked

  • yo where do u get the cocaine table?

  • heh?

  • wtf O.o XD

  • thank you bro...i had no idea wat i was gunnu do great tutorial very easy to understand...i need to nake a shirt for this saturdays de la hoya vs pacquiao

  • Cool, glad I could help.

  • MINI MOOSE! <3

  • I leave you to your...moosey fate.

  • So if you do this all right does it ever peel off or anything? Any..side effects?

  • It goes on real well...but the image gets all crackly after a few washings.

  • Hm. Do you know of a way where it never goes crackly and peel? Because I made a shirt once and it peeled like after the first couple washes.

  • Well, the trick to keep it from peeling is to iron the hell out of it...but I don't spose you can do much about the crackling...with these ones anyway, I don't know about other products.

  • hey, what happens if you leave the white parts of the paper on?

  • It will be white on yer fabric. So like if you print a stop sign, an the main part is red, but nothing prints on the letters and they stay white, when you put it on yer fabric, it will be a red sign with white letters.

  • ok cool, thanks for the video and reply

  • lol I'm doin this on the weekend... gonna ask my friend to draw a logo of our band :D

its still in the process of forming... since I still stink at bass... and he's amazing at Guitar and Drums. but then again he got his first guitar at 4 yrs old :(

    ty u dude *****

  • My next thing is I'd like to try my hand at screen printin.

  • There's this guy, Can't remember his site but He's a one man company I guess. Screen prints his own stuff and sells it for like 10 bucks a pop. Real nice stuff.

  • Yeh, that'd be cool.

  • i love you for this!

  • Hey cool.

  • Hey hedge, have you ever thought of doing a tutorial on screen printing? I've seen quite a few online, but figured you'd make a kickass one. Also, I might be making a pillow case for someone, so should I use the iron ons or should I try to make my own screen print set up? The final product is gonna be the same size of a pillow case (21'x32") and multiple colors (I can send you a pic if you like).

  • These iron-ons will get all crackly over time. Screen printing would definitely be better...I don't do any screen printing, cuz I don't have the stuff to do it with!

  • Thanks man. When I get back from my vacation i'll get to work on the frames.

  • I'd like to get into screen printing.

  • Do it. Threadbanger has a good tutorial on how to screen print.

  • would you wear my band's logo? we're a pro-violence anti-hippie pro-corporate capitalist fascist-core band. i think you'll dig it.

  • Hey, actually I got a target dummy what I might like to put that logo on...send me a jpeg.

  • alright, so i lied, my band isnt pro corperate, capitalist, or fascist. actually its an acoustic anarchofolk band. and it sucks. but i wanted to see if you'd response would be angry or light-hearted. i think i approve of the response.

ps. i love you, even if you do buy paint pens from wal-mart ;)

  • Oh...well, I wouldn't wanna put that logo on Bob...thas my target dummy.

Hey, thanx for not holdin the Wal-Mart thing against me too much...I'm actually an alright guy...cept for my psychosis.

  • iron on transfer paper?

    stencil.

    paint.

    wax paper&iron.

    cheaper.

  • Stencilling is a much better idea. But if you needed to use a photo or something, this would work better.

  • Cool!

  • I can't ever make the stickers stick? How do you keep them from un-sticking to the shirt?

  • You iron it on.

  • hedgetv what if it doesn't stick when you iron it on? please don't laugh here

  • Well, if it don't stick when you iron it on...then the stuff must be defective, or maybe you didn't peel off the backing first, or something like that. But when I iron it on, it sticks...sticks like crazy.

  • Thanks HedgeTV

  • hey good vid. just one question... is it ok to put in the washing machine.. like with everything else, will it bleed?.. how long ould it take to come off... or is it just like normal.

  • Nah, it don't bleed...but it does get all crackly over time.

  • thanks so much

  • you favor michael j. fox.

  • japanz1984 my thoughts exactly! They must be related and if they're not this guy could be famous duplicating him

  • he could sell his own shirts, maybe he'll become famous.lol

  • he's pretty good at it alright, he's had 29,425 viewers so far, so I'd say wow- he IS famous for his t-shirts lol!

  • this is kool. I use the same transfer paper (avery) and technique. Main problem I have is dark t shirts. Trying to put as image where theres suppose to be transparency is difficult cuz anywhere on the image where you dont want any image to show, will show in a white color. How do you deal with that?

  • Cut out any part what ain't printed on.

  • what is the materials used...

the 'Gun'.... what is that made of...

  • Well, I sort of go over all that in the vid...it's an iron-on transfer paper what you can use in yer printer like paper.

  • how cool is that! I could be walkin down town with a tshirt that no fuker has got on the whole world! am guna make crazy ones for the gym etc...nic vid man!

  • Yeh, I know...you can do all the stuff you wish you could find to buy!

  • great video btw

  • does the image have to be black or can you use different colours?

  • Yeh, any colours will work on this stuff.

  • ok thanks for the help :)

  • No prob, thanx for watchin.

  • Very nice video!

  • Hey, thanx.

  • alright.

    thanks man badass video.

  • do you use the printers ink or some special kind?

  • I jus used the ink that was in my printer at the time.

  • i need help please...what kind of paper did you actually use to print the design on? was that some kind of a sticker paper?....please reply...anybody...^_^

  • It is the Avery 3279 T-Shirt transfer...you print on it like paper, then iron it on.

  • what paper do u put over the print¡?

  • It's a thin sheet of kinda like tracing paper...it comes with the transfers, tho.

  • Hey hedge were can u get the stuff seperatly and how much does the stuff cost (i know u don't like vouching for other peoples product but like walmart, staples etc.)

  • I got mine at Walmart, but I also seen them at Staples...you can probly get them anywhere what sells office supplies...but I don't remember how much I paid for em.

  • did that orange/redish? shirt have mini moose on it lol it looked like it imnot sure

  • HAAAA! HAAAAAA!!! Yeh, that was mini moose! Made that one myself too.

  • FUCKIN A i new it lmao nice

  • I've been using avery for a long time and I agree it does do a great job as long as you set your resolution to a high number like 300 when you print it out the higher the resolution number the better it is. thanks for sharing

  • Hey, thanx for the tip!

  • Your videos are like doing this and that, you seem to know everything!

  • I do seem to dabble in almost everything...I'm like the old term "jack of all trades, master of none."

  • does it transfer colors? im thinking about making a back graphic of a red and black streetlight manifesto streetlight on the back of my jacket

  • Yeh, I shoulda done a colour pic...it will transfer anything you put on it, like a photo or whatever...but it gets kinda crackly, so you may wanna jus paint yer design straight on the jacket.

  • ok thanx man

  • so if i wanted that

and i wanted to print my name or something

how do you make it so it doesnt say my name backwards

  • This kind of transfer, you put face UP on the fabric...so any words you write have to be written forward...in other words, whatever you print on it will look the same on the fabric.

  • thanx man i was tryin to figure out how to do this u shoulda made the gun a little bigger lol

  • Yeh, that'd been cool.
