  • man, I like this new multicamo... if only they approve it for all the Army before i go, the multicamo actually looks like a warriors uniform. It looks like itll work too, not silly like the ACU did

  • @RENEGADEROYAL1 i advise you not to serve as a warrior for the NWO, i did serve so i cant fault you if you do or i would be hypocritical. but i served the elite for 8 years and know if i had the chance to do it again i would say no. i would instead join a the constitutional militia unit instead knowing what i know now.

(Sorry main steam media i didn't fall for the programing and now see the militia as necessary and constitutional)

  • i miss digital camo

  • I could have sworn they were called Air Force "Prepared Jumpers" hence the nickname PJ's ?

  • @Jajajawut Parajumpers.

  • why tier 1 has hk416 but lower tiers scar?

  • What forces is this? Iknow rangers is using multicam but not scars.. Never heard about any force using both scar and multicam

  • only thing left to come out are Octo-Camo suiti & Nanosuit! once U.S. have those, oh man we will be unstoppable. Maybe sometime in the future lol :D

  • Multi-Cam looks like a winner.

  • Lol Msn Noise at 0:30

  • Fuckin issue these already!....FUCK!

  • @strongman17 I know the army has them in Afghanistan. Apparently it's working out

  • @11bangbangable only thing is the "plate carriers" we're issued are these junk fucking "Soldier's Plate Carrier" System which is still a shit system when you compare it to something worth a damn say a Paraclete RAV or ARHPC. However, still better than the shit IOTV''s. Good luck huffin' it out there in the 'stan bro, infantry all the fucking way, Airborne!

  • only place this cammo cant be used is urban

  • @50TNCSA ...Or temperate woodland, jungle, grasslands, spring time, arctic, ect. There is no universal camofluage as far as i'm concerned.

  • @screwball000 idk it works well for me in a few of those areas

  • People runnin around with guns yeeah

  • Multicam is slowly being moved into the military starting with the higher ups, then lower and lower. The weapon is a little bit overrated because of video games. I can do that with my stag (Stag Arms M8) except the .308 sniping part

  • just got my tru spec multicam today! and i love it!

  • @jjferkatch I think they are going to switch to Multicam permanently because this patern is useful in almost all environnements

  • so are these people actual troops (that are not deployed yet) or are they military enthusiasts with the gear???

  • @jjferkatch All US troops are going to wear multicam or only troops going in Afghanistan ?

  • @Bazsil20 quit using call of duty as a lame ass way to insult people

  • don't marines have jungle digital camo?

  • @sgtcool5005 there is just the woodland digital camo

  • At 0:40 they should move in faster!!

  • Song?

  • i like ACU better than multicam

  • @lvrpatriot01 Yea but ACU only works in afghanistan and urban environments. You pretty much stick out like a sore thumb if your'e in the forest

  • @arandomperson3 ACU doesnt not work in afghanistan, I know first hand.

  • @halt661 I think it's a better investment in the HK 416, especially considering it operates practically identical to the AR-15 series. Requires less additional training and is familliar and boosts their confidence because of that. And it's extremely reliably and I think cheaper then then FN SCAR as well.

  • At 0:32 - you get mail!!

  • id take an ar over this anyday, but what is this? army? or just a well armed militia?

  • multicam for the win

  • SCAR has too much recoil for a modern rifle.

  • @halt661 I just read something about the Army officially switching a couple days ago. And that soldiers are now starting to recieve their multicam gear and bdu. But, I could be wrong.

  • @HunterBeier Actually, that happened several months ago. However, it takes a long time to field the M/C pattern BDUs to the whole army. Some reserve units are still using M81 woodland. The Brits are switching to a new pattern that uses the same colors (licensed but different variation).

  • Good Video/Good rip:I've been doing some independent research on Multicam. It is my conclusion that the RipStop Material version blends more than the Proper Crye. I use it for hunting - and if you lookup the videos or photos - the guys blend into the trees with the RipStop more. Now maybe its because there was less vegetation in this video - I can't conclude it completely. But again - awesome video. Boonie Hats blend more than the helmets in the video. GREAT VIDEO!

  • steadycam

  • :55, filmed in Georiga, the red clay is a dead giveaway, must be at the Fort in Colombis

  • @DaytonaRoadster we have the same red clay up here in Bragg, nc too. Ask anyone there what Area J looks like

  • @xx76rockstar76xx ya parts of Lousiana have it too

  • i really want to know why the only sights i ever see on this weapon are the 553 and 556 holo sights? it's really just all i ever see on it

  • @hanzohadow ACOG at 1:22 :D

  • @hanzohadow I've seen TA31s and SpectreDRs on them as well. The EOTechs are part of the SOPMOD Block II program, so that's why they're very common among SCARs.

  • @rotorleopard is the block II Daniel Defense sopmod program being put into play now?

  • didnt SOCOM pull the plug on the scar l?

  • @nukinfuts1000 yes, but they ordered more of the 7.62 SCAR

  • btw thats not multicam its camogrom a new multicam like camoflague for netherlands. (nad incase u didnt know FN is from netherlands)

  • i think the scar will take over m4's dont you think???

  • @jdm27ef most likely.....

  • @jdm27ef nope, SOCOM just pulled support for the 5.56 SCAR last month, they did order more of the 7.62 models though, they didnt say way, but looks like the only one still in testing is the H&K model

  • @yayarea408 Because special forces are better trained and there are fewer of them so it keeps the cost down, for example Green Beret's have a very low acceptance rate like 100 will test but only 3 will make it...similar to most special forces. And ACU is not bad in urban environments. The army wants its soldiers to have the best camo they can but within a budget.

  • @Maggot1750 US army (no special forces) will be deploying with multi cam in future in afghanistan

  • @gazzthompson I don't understand what you said lol, are you saying the US army is deploying with multicam? Because they aren't lol. Some Army Rangers do use multicam, I don't know about green beret, just used them as an example of the limited numbers that make it into special forces.

  • @Maggot1750

google 'us army multicam afghanistan' , first link is an army.mil link about the US army will deploy with multicam.

  • @gazzthompson I guess the soldiers' complaints got across to their command, good to see. Special forces still use multicam...not sure if you were saying they weren't in your first post but thanks for letting me know they are issuing it now :)

The 173rd Airborne Brigade must have put in a very good word for multicam.

  • @Maggot1750 Yeah sorry my wording was incorrect, you are correct in saying the US (and UK) special forces have been using multicam. Also british forces have recently adopted multi cam (or a very similar variant) for use in afghanistan.

  • @gazzthompson Yep Britain's camo is not cyre multicam but it is very very similar, it's basically just a lighter version.

  • @Maggot1750 Except they didn't work well in Afghanistan.

  • @rotorleopard What are you talking about? ACU's or multicam?

  • @yayarea408 The main reason for the army turning multicam down was the cost but the army is still looking into multicam issuing the 173rd Airborne Brigade multicam for their deployment in Afghanistan. Also, special forces such as army Rangers use multicam.

  • The ACU is probally the best pattern ever invented for NIGHT time. At night the prevailing color is OD which is a shade of grey not green. Also the ACU is very good at fooling night vision. If the ACU had more brown in the pattern it would be perfect. It is also very good at a distance no matter the terrain. They don't need to use multicam all they need to do is rework the color scheme.

  • @trhisdone Well, if it's great night camo then that means its bad half the time or more - ie daylight. Also if you change the color scheme on a camo pattern you are fundamentally changing the camo. After all the pattern is a combination of of the shapes used as well as the color pallet. For me it's frustrating that the Army went with a pattern that is just to grey/blue for real world use.

  • @colddrake80 ACU is great for 300meters+ and grays you out at that range and it is very good at night. The army was thinking future wars would be fought in urban environments, at long range, and at night and in those situations the ACU is outstanding. However, many soldiers do not like them...for example; they are less durable (ripping at the crotch etc). I personally do not like the ACU.

    MARPAT FTW.

  • @Maggot1750 Buddy of mine is in the army and he hates the uniform. He complained more about the colors but did make some comment on poor durability. I'm glad to hear they are phasing it out at least for those deploying to AFPAC area.

  • @colddrake80 Yea, one guy told me his crotch area has ripped twice during his tour in Iraq and never had that problem with the old BDU's. I don't like ACU's either, Marines got it right with MARPAT....much better than ACU's.

  • We also need variations of multicam for the arctic and jungle theatre of war. But this multicam is good for the desert and your average temperate forest. I'd like to see somebody go to 'Nam wearing this. LOL

  • @11bangbangable Yeah I read about that somewhere. About fucking time! WTF were they thinking sending M240 B's up the mountains? Shit is heavy & don't even get me started on the ammo & the damn tripod.

  • Right now any kind of camo is better than those freakin' ABUs or ACUs. I mean blue and white squares? At least the multicam colors are colors i see in the forest. If it were up to me it would be the old BDUs all the way!!!

  • @kevluv93 hell ya to that. but we have to remember, acu's and abu's were invented for the urban warfare of Iraq

  • Is the SCAR anygood?, I have heard it's quite bulky compared too the trustworthy M4 carbine.

  • @Dimitri0809 well their actually both exactly the same, the SCAR just has a gas piston and weighs a little more. Otherwise nothing much. Bulkiness i can't tell.

  • Nice video guy.....I haven't shot the new FN yet..they seem to function well?

  • 0:34 someone signs into live messenger, probably in that warehouse.

  • @11bangbangable My dad was a sniper in the 10th. He was gone all the time mostly down to the south. I'm sure you know where. Who doesn't? lol

    then he went SF.

  • @11bangbangable hey I'm shipping out to Benning in 2 weeks 11x osut! You have any advice??

  • @FrankDeSonia11B Should have went 19D

  • @11bangbangable High Speed indeed shit i don't consider 10th Mountain regular army anyways with all the fuckin deployments you crazy fucks got under ya'll belt fuckin awesome man keep up the good work HOOAH.

  • wow, neat graphics whats the game called

  • @calleford lol Call Of Duty: Simulation Warfare

  • US Army has just approved Crye Precision MultiCam pattern 'fire-resistant ACU'

(as DoD describes it) uniforms for all troops deploying to Afghanistan this summer.

Special Operations units (Seals & Air Force Para Rescue) have been using

    MultiCam in theater for years.

  • Guys check out digital storm camo. I made a video on it. I think it's better than this multicam

  • @GOD719 No it's not.

  • Rangers?

  • Rangers doesn't use muliticam or Scar. Only special forces are using it

  • rangers are in the special forces and they use digital camo and they do use the scar

  • Digital camo, yes. But NOT this type of camouflage used in this video

  • Rangers have been using multicam for awhile now...some elements of it using SCARs as well...Get ur facts straight.

  • Show me, i'm not very into the american army

  • actually yes the ranger use this camo and all units being deployed to Afghanistan are being issued this camo look it up

  • @myitchydog

The 75th Rangers currently employ the FN SCAR, AND use Multicam. Other Ranger battalions are also beginning to use Multicam, if they haven't made the transition already.

The US Army is taking a bit of a back peddling on the decision of adopting UCP for the ACU uniform, looking to Multicam and other patterns that out perform UCP.

  • All coelition forces in afganistan are going to use it by the end of 2010.

  • @NathanAndrewLonsdale The UK has now adopted MTP, it's based on the colouration of Multicam but uses a DPM style pattern.

Multicam is very effective, not perfect in every theatre but then again, nothing is.

  • @Anonymus0809 actually the rangers are being issued the SCAR, they're the first unit now to get it standard

  • i fuckng love the scar

  • They need to issue these to every service member.

  • war is a game my friend

  • it's just amazing how many people who think they need to prove their intelligence to a stranger on youtube. puthetic

  • kool do the army actually make the game? ive got a ps3 is it out for that?

  • YOU ARE A dUMBASS!!!!!!

  • I hope you are kidding.

  • LMAO i was only kidding man now look what my comment has turned into, i was just being a bit daft its obviously not a computer game

  • game?

  • u, my friend, are a DUMBASS!

  • is the game out for xbox 360? whats it called?

  • the sound isnt with the picture. i hear the sound before the picture that is supposed to be there is actually there

  • i like ACU and Muticam, but my peeve is with the ACH(the new helmet) there are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better after market helmets with the same level of protection or higher but almost always better protection for ears and lower portion of the head

  • yeah do you know the reason why the ACH is so high cut? its not a cost saving manouvere i can assure you

  • and i think those built in knee pads look gay, bet they dont align with your knee at all.

    Sexy camo though

  • Fucking go back to the old DCU better than the ACU.

Gives them some time to figure it out.

  • why have british army got new camo this style and americans got that stupid gray uniform

  • @geebones ITS NOT MULTICAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dunno thats a out dated version i think

  • is the fn scar automatic?

  • hahah what a stupid question. How old are you? 10? Or 11?

  • i think theirs more airsofters with multicam then acual military personel. :)

but who cares! aussies are badass

  • i heard there replacing the acus with the multicam in 2012 is that true.

  • no, its under evaluation for conventional army units (along with UCP-Delta pattern) but many SOCOM units use it. the 3rd btn of the 75th rangers use it, and the 2nd btn has theres on the way. expect to see all rangers in MC soon.

  • where you get the information?

  • i think so, since the next batch of US Rangers which will be sent to Afghanistan will be issued Multicam as they're standard camo rather than ACU's

  • Obama's address states that all US troops are gonna be pulled out by 2011. If that's true, then I don't think so, because having every soldier at once switch their camo in the middle of a war is unwise.

  • no, he's keeping troops in their for longer, its just the 30,000 he just mobed

  • Did you watch the address man? His EXACT words were: We WILL be pulling ALL US Forces out of the Middle East by 2011.

  • yeah, but i highly doubt that, and it's still a versatile camo i still think we should switch.

  • uniforms never switch at one time the get phased out..ARMY puts out a new uniform takes years before phased in.

  • Yea, but Gates said the opposite. The Army will switch eventually but the government is inefficient so it will take a while. They would NEVER switch all at once.

If the Army Brass fell out of a window it would take them a week and three forms before they hit the ground!

  • but damn is it sexy

  • BLACKWATER and HIGH RISK PRIVATE SECURITY CONTRACTORS "THE MOTHER OF MULTICAM USE IS FROM PRIVATIZED ARMIES NOT THE DOD's ARMY OR WEAK INTERNATIONAL ARMIES MOST OF Speical operators join Private Firms because of the payment and traning , and services. no wounder this is 60% more then the US armed forces oversea's and International matter of fact. and the only private Military contractors that can go with LEVEL 4 loadout into an urbanized envoriment.

  • screw the UCP, screw Multicam, the US Army should have gone with All Over Brush, a woodland and desert variant. The Marine Corps is the only service with incredibly effective camo, our military is the greatest in the world so we should not have crap patterns. The ABU is a joke (tigerstripe? since when do ppl see tigerstripe and think : airforce!, I see TS and think of SF or SEALs in vietnam), the NWU is gay looking but isnt supposed to be camo so w/e, and UCP on the ACU sucks as a universal camo

  • the only reason your military is great is becasue of your numbers and technology.

your soilders are not well trained and are overworked. The british army is one of the best. the reason for this is that we are an effective fighting force with shit equipment.

  • how can you just be so stereotypical about an entire country's armed forces? You can't say an entire military service sucks and be generic about it all. Sure, some units in our Armed forces are overworked and some units are not that great, but for the most part our Military is very well trained. The USMC puts its entire emphasis on training and being ready, the Marines take training to next level and are in tip top shape. Our SF units, SEALs, Delta, Rangers, MARSOC, PJ's, etc are all outstanding

  • I'm sorry for saying your millitary sucks :)

yes i know the USMC are hardworking units.

Im from 19 light brigade and i was in operation pantheres claw. I seen how good yourr forces are there ;)! and by i mean your soliders arnt well trained is hearing what they did and i did . ( im jelouis) becasue it sounds really easy , it most likley isnt. But im glad for your Millitarys support , my friend need CASEVAC and if wasnt for your Hawks ,he would be fucked!

and im sorry if i casued offence!

  • PS

id like to see your SF against her majasties ;)

  • Me too, I got nothing but the utmost respect for your Military, the SAS and SBS are outstanding soldiers, I think maybe the best trained operators in the world. The Royal Marines are badass too, I've always admired them, 1 year of basic training is insane. I think most of our allies have great militaries, the Canadians are underrated, their JTF2 is badass, same with the German KSK. I almost forgot the Aussies, their SAS is up there as well. But I'd say the US & UK are definately evenly matched

  • the aussies are outsatnding!

  • At least you're honest xbrad, takes alot of balls to say your Military has shitty equipment. LOL I have nothing bad to say about the Brits, other than your camo patterns, it looks like shit, but you do have one of the Greatest Militaries the World has ever seen.

  • lol are camo :O!

at least we can hide in bushes :P! (acu)

  • well there would be no british army if not for Americas overall military might. and dont forget we have nine active supercarriers and are the only country who has truly mastere the art of carrier warfare remember the pacific in ww2 study that a bit and see what you think.

  • Multicam Owns!

  • Add to that...its is far less likely in a combat scenerio that you will be trying to hide in plan sight from the enemy in the woods...more likey you will be hiding in the shawdows of tress and bushes or behind boulders. thats what woodland camo should be designed for.

lol...some wanna be rambo and want to be able to touch the guys nose without being seen..whatever

  • ACU is to be used behind bushes it looked like backround. I go against it almost everytime we play and people wearing Marpat and Multicam get shot just as much. When ACU goes behind brush it is impossible to find.

  • er...if your hiding behind something i thin you can be naked adn unless there right up on you it will nto make a difference...lol

But you are incorrect if you dont believe there is value in the MARPAT's ability to not reflect light...that is key.

Our eyes are nothing more then light sensors. obejects that reflect more light stand out more

Science, its a wonderful thing. I think the marines have a few more than the army apparently

  • I never said that Marpat is not great camo, it is my favorite woodland camo . I was responding to the claim that ACU does not work in woodland. In airsoft games we play it really works well behind brush and light vegitation. The guy below me is right you are never out in the open in a combat situation but hiding behind cover, cover tends to be trees and rocks both tend to be gray or brown

  • its weird...I play airsoft and i love acu and all but my friend let me barrow his multicam and im having diffrent thoughts :p

  • I think the army should only rework the primary colors used on the ACU and to make it matching with the multicam in term of dyeing.

  • The ACU was chosen by the US Army for one reason... cost. Multicam uniforms are between 200 and 280 dollars, ACUs are about 50 to 70 dollars. The multicam pattern is definately the more effective and functional, but ultimately price became the deciding factor in their selection." US army requirements for effective uniform selection 1. Cheap

  • I am currently enlisted in the army and they are actually looking at phasing out the Unicam pattern that we have now in favor of multicam. If you want proof the 173rd Airborne Brigade is currently using the multicam pattern in Afghanistan.

  • wesseh1,

I respectfully disagree. you cannot substantiate cost as the single most decisive factor involved in the Army's choice of the ACU. Perhaps you are correct in the unit cost, (though i think your estimates are still over the top), irregardless, you did not include the cost of all the accesories and equipment that have been made into acu's to match them.

  • think about the extensive list: IBA's, all molle pouches, helmet covers, etc. all fo the soldier's accessories are ACU too, not just his uniform. the army budgeted plenty of money to purchase all this worthless crap for reasons far beyond frugality. i agree, multicam is the far better choice, though i beleive that these troops shown here in this video should have olive drab gear and weapons, not tan. bottome line, the acu was teh wrong choice, but not because of money, merely stupidity.

  • Bought as close to authentic ACU uniform as possible (Propper) for $35 for top and bottom and the Multicam uniform, same design, same material, costs exactly the same amount.

  • I got the Multicam for bow hunting. I think that the new digital desert is second place for that. But if I was to go to Afganistan, I would wear the DD ACU. Most people don't like it, cause I got a case of woodland @ less than $7 pc. And the Multicam never goes on sale or clearance, Top of the food chain prices. If I was to go to Afghanistan, I would feel safer in the digital desert ACU. ACU's are better than BDU's. But hey, thanks for putting up a multicam video mightymints, no one else did.

  • 0:33 LOL msn sound =)

  • the 173rd airborne have already been issued multicam for their next deployment in Afghanistan. Also some special operations groups have been using multicam because it suits Afghanistan better than ACU's do.

  • We might be getting this shit with in the next couple of years. I think it works good in most areas how ever i have only seen this on the net and I haven't worn it. ACU's suck

  • the 173rd started using multicam along with Delta and the special forces and some ranger compnay's

  • we're not. yes some are wearing it, but not for the long run. the army went back to DCUs in afgan which was smart.

  • I dont know why people dislike multicam. Probably because they are insecure and want to be different, seeing as how most normal people know multicam is amazing and that is why they enjoy it.

Apurate

  • the Rangers just got a shipment of FN SCARS waiting for them to grant it to all US forces.

  • The 173rd was just granted permission from congress to deploy to Afghanistan this year, sporting multicam. Also, troops deploying to Afghanistan are supposed to get new uniforms this year through next. Not sure if that means multicam, or if they will be testing again. Hopefully, if they do the testing, they'll use actual line troops, and not desk commandos.

  • Multicam doesn't suck dumb fuck

  • How does multicam actually suck?

I personally like my camouflage to work.

    ACU cumfarter

  • bro when you're out humpin outside the wire, get your ACUs dirty, you might as well be made of dirt. they work well. when we were in bella, up in the trees in afghanistan, they work really well the greyish green matches the trees and the sky line and those haji turds cant see us haha. BUT i ACUs look hella stupid when at home.

  • well under 30/30 lighting multicam blacks out also it does not work in desert and does not work in Urban also in under NV multicam performs poorly. Multicam is at it's best in light vegetation or open field. All the people that are calling me an idiot are not aware of what the Army is looking for, a camo that performs well in Urban Desert with a very low IR signature. In my testing it worked good enough in most environments, multicam works very well in light vegetation.

  • I respectfully disagree with your belief of multicam not working in desert and urban terrain. I have used TRU's, ACU's, MARPAT DE and BDU's in a desert and urban enviroment and MC was amazing. It was the best uniform that could transition from the desert and light brush to the grey. I would agree that ACU may do better in an urban enviroment, but the point is to find a pattern that works EVERYWHERE. I cant say for NV and IR stuff because we dont use true Crye.

  • FINALLY, someone i agree with...

  • dude multicam was ranked second best all around camo in the world. Thats Impressive. And Airsofters are the biggest supporters of Multicam so wats your problem?

  • wow your an idiot, yes i agree airsoft is amazing but multicam doesnt suck. if it sucked the military wouldnt use it, they obviously know more about warfare than you do

  • Actually I'm in the military and everyone I know in the military thinks ACU pattern sucks

  • well then i guess ive been proven wrong then

  • are they wearing multicam camo with Tan or CB vests??? or my eyes are failing .
