@wolf11 The opening sequence was written by Andrew Lockington specifically for the show so I don't think there there is a longer version. I'm not sure who sings in it either

@StarSancFar - that has to do with broadcasting - everything from North America is slightly faster in the UK switching from NTSC to PAL. This happens in almost every show out there.

While I don't mind the song, it totally ruins the opening sequence I think. It just does not fit it well at all. The first one had a mysterious and technological sound to it. This is just a song over a very cool opening visual.

Thanks SO much for putting this here! Ever since Kali part 3 I've been totally addicted to that song, and when I heard the half of the first note that morning while watching firewall for the first time I knew I HAD to find a way to listen to it repeatedly, because getting back to the exact time on the episode was just getting on my nerves. So you basically just saved my life, and if I'm correct, that of a couple of my friends! this music is really truly extremely amazing! And Sanctuary Rocks!!=)

@Hawkalina I can't really hear the guitar either...when I listened very carefully I thought I heard an electric guitar in the background playing the latter part of the melody along with the singer...but I'm not really sure. Can anyone hear the guitar??

It would be cool if she did it, but she didn't. The woman singing is much younger, and has a deeper speaking voice. Trust me, I've been singing since I was six, and had professional choir training :D. But it would be awesome if it was her.

@Hawkalina She's singing the first segment in harmony - and the 2nd segement lead line in octaves - so you get the low / high unison effect :)

@NeilParfitt Actually, in the first segment, it's a woman and a man - the bottom half of the harmony is a male voice. Then in the second segment it's either the same woman or a different one singing in a slightly higher pitch. But it sounds cool! I like the new theme :D I just wish I didn't have to wait so long for the next episode :DDD

@Hawkalina Actually, you're right - but I was just talking about the female vocals. There's 2 male parts tucked in underneath. The 2nd segment is octaved male and female vocals - same singers, but the female vocals take the lead. I'd know, as I mixed it! :)
