Bottom line...my bike is a bit over 700 pounds with rider...it is 300+ horsepower...so unless your Supra weighs less than 2300 pounds I am going to leave you behind real quick. It's all math people...700 pounds / 300 horsepower = 2.33 pounds per 1 horsepower...your Supra is probably 3300 to 3600 pounds and you say you have 1000 horepower...3300 pounds / 1000 horsepower = 3.30 pounds per 1 horsepower...sorry you would lose bad. I have raced 1200 horse Vipers...1400 horse Corvettes...never lost.

Depends on the size of the bike. Id rather have a honda that can wax liter bikes for 15k than a supra. To build a car to beat a 600 is relatively cheap

Ninja's will kick ass on just about anything, I have had 3 of them...nothing comes close to beating me in a race...current bike is Ninja ZX-14 on nitrous...it will eat anything on the street...0-100 mph in 3 seconds...0-180 mph in just under 14 seconds...scarey fast...nothing else comes close...kills Hayabusa like it's standing still. Twin Turbo Ford GT is the only thing that got close to beating me...but I ate him when we hit 150 mph. I can hardly hang on to it from 120-160 mph FREAKY FAST.

I ride a ZX9r, and I was quite impressed at how well it did against a bike that was not only NEWER but also had an extra 100cc's dissplacement in its favour.... the GSXR was only crawling past untill the ZX brakes went on, then it flew past... They are both good at what they do and have their own individual qualities, that I don't think can be judged as a "good bike" or "bad bike" just from a one off amatueur drag race!

No, Kawasaki factually has the best power to weight, but it is also the smallest motorcycle company. Their 08 motoGP bike had stability probs so they were forced to retire it. If you look at kawasaki they have only had 1-2 bikes in GP while there are 8 hondas 4 zukes and 4 ducatis generally. but that is the zx-rr, totally different than the zx10r (800cc)Roger hayden won the ama championship in 07, placed either 2nd or 3rd in o8 and is currently leading this year on a zx10r. Kawi is good.

Every single motor vehicle that has ever been produced has a spread sheet of specs, and once you do that. You will see that the GSXR 1000 is the fastest 1000cc bike in production and has been for a very long time. Straight from the factory they are so close in performance it barely makes a difference. It's about personal preference and who's the better rider. (excepting the ninja 636 which does have a little more low-end grunt but it doesn't race in the 600cc class) But I know everyone has to argue over who's bike is faster so I digress at this point.

Kawasaki ZX10R 200 hp at 12,500 rpm. Atleast that I have found on google. It was amazing to see how much Kawasaki produces hp :O

Here's how the drag bikes this year sort out (1000cc):

1. Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade: will win any rolling or standing start drag race in any gear thanks to its torque and midrange punch.

2. Kawasaki ZX-10R: Loses to the Honda's torque off the line, but has the most top end HP and will eventually catch up to the Honda.

3. Suzuki GSX-R1000: Distant 3rd.Good midrange, but not as good as the Honda, decent power, but nothing compared to the Kawi.

4. Yamaha R1: Outdated and outgunned for now.

Actually the gixxer will not beat a zx-10 bud. My CBR1000 will beat the gixxers from time to time. The zx-10 has about 10 horse over all the 1000's. Sad but true.
