Rosa Parks did not sit in an area where she wasn't suppose to and she didn't do it to end segregation. She was sitting in the "black" section but the bus was crowded and she was expected to stand so a white person could sit. She didn't get up because "she was tired", plain and simple. She was brave to say no and it ended up being crucial to the civil rights movement, but she herself said it was not her intention.
