Proportionally, the prices are relatively the same. However, seeing as the the Euro has a higher value than the Dollar, Lego sets in the US are cheaper. Basically the best thing to do is to buy in the US using Euros.

A strong economy will have higher monetary values in general. Though not always (China for example has a very strong economy but it's money has a lower value than the dollar.
