I don't know about Paris but as an american just back form saint-cloud, it's true french guys don't seem to try as hard. Of course the girls don't seem to care or demand better so I figured it was just the culture. Although in the village i lived in when I was a kid, a part of the mass was still in latin.
i had a lot of "tradditionnal catholic" friends.
