it's comforting to know we're hearing amy's real voice right here, not some computer generated or auto tuned voice like how mainstream singers sound like
@meganinjapillow well seeing as that isn't her real voice... look at some of her live videos. in concert she sounds terrible. this is as auto tuned as the next, they just did a better job of making it sound natural. you can even hear it in some spots.
@KikiLaceyInc3:17 you can hear an almost machine sounding "film" in the backgroud indicative of use of a voice coder or auto tuner and at 4:33 on the word enough, it was supposed to sound slightly more feminine, but she couldnt quite get there so they attempted, (badly if you ask me) to cover it up and just make it sound emotional.

Have you heard the clips of her recording in the studio before they edited it? This year I lost a cat that was less than a year old. I know some will say she was just a cat, but she was really my sister, and this was the first time I had lost something I cared about so much. I cried myself to sleep every night for a week, but the truth is, she had a good life, and that is something to celebrate, not cave in to. This song is how I feel right now. Thumbs up if you feel the same way. ^^

@maki1394 I totally agree. I have a cat right now and I don't know what I'd do if I lost him. But I can see a soul in him every single day. And I know that heaven exists and I firmly believe animals go there. When my cat goes I really hope I will see him again.

@meganinjapillow well seeing as that isn't her real voice... look at some of her live videos. in concert she sounds terrible. this is as auto tuned as the next, they just did a better job of making it sound natural. you can even hear it in some spots.

@KikiLaceyInc 3:17 you can hear an almost machine sounding "film" in the backgroud indicative of use of a voice coder or auto tuner and at 4:33 on the word enough, it was supposed to sound slightly more feminine, but she couldnt quite get there so they attempted, (badly if you ask me) to cover it up and just make it sound emotional.

@KikiLaceyInc well, if you think she doesnt use at the very least a voice coder then you are highly mistaken. look up her song Missing. there are two versions out there. the same recording. but one was released before she made it big and didnt have the technology to fix her voice, and the other which sounds like all her other stuff was ran over with a voice coder. you can obviously hear it, and honestly, i didnt believe she did it either until i heard it. and as a fellow singer, i wasdisapointed

@java2010aurora And of which 'Missing' are you talking about? As far as I know, there is four version of the song. One in Origin, another in Not For Your Ears, one in the Outtakes and the final one rests in Anywhere But Home. You have the choice here. And for your information, Missing is a pretty old song so, maybe they didn't have the right technology back then as we have now. In any cases, get your facts together before speaking of Amy like that!

@java2010aurora She sounds terrible? Maybe because she is always jumping around on stage, headbanging and having a good time. Have you ever listened to the live acoustic version of lithium? Have you heard the clips of her recording in the studio before they edited it? She is amazing and just because she goes around headbanging on stage and makes it hard for her to sing, doesn't mean she can't. If i remember right, she was the president of her choir group in high school because she can sing.
