I have not prejudice against homosexual people. I do not hate them, I dislike homosexual actions. My dislike is not irrational, it is ordained by the Word of God in the Bible. Even without the Bible, it is truly clear that the reason there are male and female genders is because male and females are meant to love and marry each other. Two people of the same-sex cannot procreate, and in terms of the sex they are limited to filthy actions, especially male relationships. Don't deny its unclean.

No, it obviously refers to homosexual sex. The word "lie" is also used in other verses referring to sex. I really don't know how you could interpret it as Baal rituals. The Hebrew translations do not mention Baal or any ritauls at all, but it does say that a man cannot have penetrative sex (as a man would with a woman) with another man. There are also several other verses that say homosexual sex is a sin.

What the ACTUAL verse means, is that a man cannot have engage with another man as he would with have sex with a woman: ie. homosexual sex. Go ahead and thumbs down on my comments. I am being very civil, and I am just spreading the word of God. If anyone is Christian and still believes homoexuality/yaoi is okay and moral, please read the Bible and speak to a priest, or your parents. I can use plenty of other verses to show you that the Bible is against homosexuality. Also, I am vegetarian, so I don't care what kinds of animals I cannot eat. Here's one reason why people protest homosexual relations: in the Bible, it is worthy of death, and does not permit one to go to heaven.

It is truly horrifying to see so many people enamored by this abomination called yaoi...sometimes it even seems as an obsession to people, which is really quite sad. It is not good that young people are exposed to and enthralled with such sexual deviancy. I hope that one day they will find God and realize that these types of relationships are neither healthy nor moral. God designed the male and female sex for a reason - so that they may be joined in a kind, loving relationship. Not homosexuals.

I'm not being homophobic. It is not wise to call everyone who disagrees with yaoi homophobic. I am not afraid of homosexuals. Homosexuality is not equivocal to race. I have not prejudice against homosexual people. I do not hate them, I dislike homosexual actions. My dislike is not irrational, it is ordained by the Word of God in the Bible. Even without the Bible, it is truly clear that the reason there are male and female genders is because male and females are meant to love and marry each other. Two people of the same-sex cannot procreate, and in terms of the sex they are limited to filthy actions, especially male relationships. Don't deny its unclean.

The Bible is written account of our Lord's actual words and teachings. As such, for all intents and purposes, God wrote the Bible. Today, Christianity is still the world's largest and most popular religion. How can you deny so many millions, if not billions of people? Not to mention the mountain of evidence that the Bible has.

Interpretation is something no one can avoid, so I believe it is fairly irrelevant. However, I believe the Bible is very clear on the subject of homosexuality. In Leviticus, it states that those who engage in homosexual intercourse shall be put to death. This is very clear. There are several other verses about homosexuality in the Bible. If you are a Christian, you are disobeying God if you indulge in these perverted fantasies.

I thought it's supposed to refer not to homosexuals but to heterosexuals who took part in the baal fertility rituals in order to guarantee good crops and healthy flocks. No hint at sexual orientation or homosexuality is even implied. The word abomination in Leviticus was used for anything that was considered to be religiously unclean or associated with idol worship.

No, it obviously refers to homosexual sex. The word "lie" is also used in other verses referring to sex. I really don't know how you could interpret it as Baal rituals. The Hebrew translations do not mention Baal or any ritauls at all, but it does say that a man cannot have penetrative sex (as a man would with a woman) with another man. There are also several other verses that say homosexual sex is a sin.

Uh, of course they would interpret it as favoring them, as they are gay. What the ACTUAL verse means, is that a man cannot have engage with another man as he would with have sex with a woman: ie. homosexual sex. Having death as the punishment for having homosexual sex ONLY in the bed of a woman is pretty ridiculous, and far-fetched. That is truly grasping at straws if you believe that.
