I am a hunter, but I those pigeon shoots are just wrong, Fair chase is the only hunting I agree with. If i was to see somone flying over trying to scare the animals away when I was hunting I would probably shoot them out of the sky. So dont be doing that in Kentucky.
hello, i have seen a good amount of ur videos, i have thought very much about this and this summer i want to go and help film to protest against these horrible things. i had also thought of getting all the numbers of thew companys that help the rodeo and try to tell them to stop. i bacicaly want to help in any way i can so if there is any thing i can do please tell me. thanks.

See, when you build massive housing plans on old farm lands, those deer get all horny and pop out baby after baby. Now there's to many of them, and they've become a danger to drivers, children, and pets. Though most deer will flee, a buck will charge you if he feels you're challenging him, and a doe will attack you if you get near her fawn. They also have no idea how to cross a road. There's got be some kind of happy medium that keeps everyone safe and the deer from being hunted out of season.:D

I understand being against the idiotic pigeon and turkey shoots, but I do not consider this hunting since nothing is being hunted, only murdered. There is no skill or reason involved. I hunt solely for food to feed me and my family (as most animals do), not for sport, and do it as ethically as possible. I mean, its better than supporting beef and chicken companies that inhumanely destroy the lives of mass amounts of living things. So, I'm just wondering, are you guys completely anti-hunting?
@MrFlumpernickle As an animal welfare org, we do not support hunting. That said, we know licensed hunting is not going to go away in the foreseeable future. Our work is against animal abuses than can be stopped immediately, which does include 'slob hunters', those licensed who leave wounded/dying animals behind. There is no reason whatsoever to make or allow an animal to suffer.

Not just contestants and chute workers in full view of the judges and officials, but officials and the stock contractors, as well. Yes, blindly supporting & defending rodeo without concern for the animals being harassed, injured and killed for your entertainment, means you support animal abuse.
I've been watching some of the pigeon shoot videos. As an outdoorsman that hunts for food, fishes for food, and shoots targets for sport, I applaud the efforts against "canned hunting."
I've never been able to understand the allure of rodeos and bullfighting.
When you show the vidoes of calves being flippedon their backs by ropers the regulations have been changed to were now it is against all rules and regulations for ropers to rope a calf that way. If any rodeo is doing this it needs to be brought up to the NRA and AFRA so they can make sure it is stopped. Slandering all rodeos of doing this is wrong, if a specific rodeo isn't follow regulations then tell the associations don't slander them on the internet.
@SHARKonlineorg Is a PRCA representative there as in someone who can report it to the PRCA, just cause their doing it doesn't mean the PRCA knows their doing so, ya things slide by it happens everywhere no matter where ya look. Try actually notifying the PRCA and get someone who will report them for doing this. Since it's against regulations then they can be shut down for breaking them. DUH!?!? Ever thought of that before you started posting these vids!

Dear Shark: After viewing the videos, I followed up by going to the PRCA official website, I scrolled down & was horrified to learn GEICO now sponsors rodeo violence. I wrote Geico president, then I turned this info over to Peta2. Peta2 has now started a letter writing campaign to encourage GEICO to pull their sponsorship immediately. GEICO should know about violence if anyone should (car wrecks,etc.) and people need to be careful what they choose to be affiliated with sometimes.No to RODEO!

See, when you build massive housing plans on old farm lands, those deer get all horny and pop out baby after baby. Now there's to many of them, and they've become a danger to drivers, children, and pets. Though most deer will flee, a buck will charge you if he feels you're challenging him, and a doe will attack you if you get near her fawn. They also have no idea how to cross a road. There's got be some kind of happy medium that keeps everyone safe and the deer from being hunted out of season.:D

I understand being against the idiotic pigeon and turkey shoots, but I do not consider this hunting since nothing is being hunted, only murdered. There is no skill or reason involved. I hunt solely for food to feed me and my family (as most animals do), not for sport, and do it as ethically as possible. I mean, its better than supporting beef and chicken companies that inhumanely destroy the lives of mass amounts of living things. So, I'm just wondering, are you guys completely anti-hunting?

@MrFlumpernickle As an animal welfare org, we do not support hunting. That said, we know licensed hunting is not going to go away in the foreseeable future. Our work is against animal abuses than can be stopped immediately, which does include 'slob hunters', those licensed who leave wounded/dying animals behind. There is no reason whatsoever to make or allow an animal to suffer.

I've been watching some of the pigeon shoot videos. As an outdoorsman that hunts for food, fishes for food, and shoots targets for sport, I applaud the efforts against "canned hunting."

When you show the vidoes of calves being flippedon their backs by ropers the regulations have been changed to were now it is against all rules and regulations for ropers to rope a calf that way. If any rodeo is doing this it needs to be brought up to the NRA and AFRA so they can make sure it is stopped. Slandering all rodeos of doing this is wrong, if a specific rodeo isn't follow regulations then tell the associations don't slander them on the internet.

Dear Shark: After viewing the videos, I followed up by going to the PRCA official website, I scrolled down & was horrified to learn GEICO now sponsors rodeo violence. I wrote Geico president, then I turned this info over to Peta2. Peta2 has now started a letter writing campaign to encourage GEICO to pull their sponsorship immediately. GEICO should know about violence if anyone should (car wrecks,etc.) and people need to be careful what they choose to be affiliated with sometimes.No to RODEO!

@SHARKonlineorg if these were taken illegally..you cant use them at all...its illegal...and to be honest i dont like to see animals hurt or killed INHUMANELY. but can and will i kill an animal for my consumption yes...doesnt hurt my feelings at all an i actually own a small chicken farm where every year i buy 25-50 broilers for my family and others i kill them eat/sell them but i ring their necks by far easiest way to do it an they are instantly lights out so i dont feel guilty

@001marv You're wrong for that comment. Nature doesn't make mistakes... industrial farming is NOT natural. Give the land back to the "roos" and eat less or no meat. Our bodies don't need it anyway. Those roos have every right to be where they would naturally habitat. Let's not forget what happened to the trees in Yellowstone park when they killed all the wolves. Look it up. Fascinating stuff when you mess with mother nature. She doesn't like it!

Oh my god. The baby cows, the stabbing bulls, that's horrible. I can't even begin to say anything about this. I am a supporter of SharkOnline. This is horrible. I was crying, thank you for bringing this to the world and help saving animals.

Protecting animals and rallying against abuse is great! I agree with you 100% on that. Hurling insults at anyone who disagrees with you makes this seem a little one-sided though... People have their opinions, and not all of them are idiotic.

haha! i saw an animal activist parachute into a rodeo arena one time, hit the cow panel wrong and broke both femurs... also saw one who tried to parachurte into the arena but his parachute didnt wanna open and he made a big hole in the ground in the pasture!
