i want to build one of these as a reusable medium for a molding process. Im trying to figure out exactly how...id like to build a pinscreen that can be tensioned enough to maintain a 3d shape so i can scan it with a laser and digitize the image..release the tension and then reuse. any ideas ? All the samples i can find have loose fitting pins that move cannot be moved without chaning the positon of the pins.
I am sure there must be a more efficient way to do this. Imagaine if those were real match heads.
