it was a electric baseboard heater , if anything gets under them like toys ect it can cause a fire ... people think electricity is a safe way to heat but not always

I agree that all Employers should let there volunteer firefighters leave work to respond to emergencies! The Government should make this law! Where would New Brunswick be without it's volunteer Firefighters? or for that matter Canada?

I totally agree. The only problem I could foresee in a Village like Salisbury, most of our members work in Moncton. A half hour away. But I know with most folks, they can't leave work for a call. Some employers are good about it too. But many aren't.
