  • Protip: Acer notebooks suck. This is said with experience.

  • could you make another video about the performance of this pc plz??

  • my netbook is 10.1 inches and has a 250gb hard drive

  • vancouver !!!! wuhhhuuu!!!!!

  • Is the lid really brushed aluminum??? It looks like silver plastic in the video.

  • Yes it is. Brushed aluminum on all these limited edition models.

  • good video

  • thick fingers + small hands = ???

    lucky EstherNCIX

  • OK, so now we've finally seen the camera man.... 3:49, black Shirt, black hair, light skin.... :P.

Eitherway, if only acer could add more power to their products, their designs are sleek. Guess they're going for the low-budget consumer market it seems.

  • first they got battery life up to 8+ hours. With the new models they're about to add a whole bunch of power.

  • lol, no I meant performance power. If they could start releasing Higher configs, esp. for gamers... I like the battery life acer has though , my Acer LT runs longer than my friends'

  • @Bayngan and what I meant was the second generation Timelines (I work for Acer, obviously...). There's ALWAYS a compromise somewhere with long battery life which is what the Timeline series is all about but the Timeline X series have significantly greater performance (Core i3, i5 and i7 chips) and they've got the switchable graphics technology down a lot better too and by using ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 and HD 5650 GPUs, this time you can actually use them for games. ;-)

  • Oh Kay, now that's what Im talkin about!

  • I honestly watch Linus's videos for no other reason than his soothing voice. And I'm not even gay. Promise.

  • Linus seems like he'd be a cool dude to hang out with.

  • @thetshirtblog, your gay, promise

  • @thetshirtblog exactly, i don't know why but when i watch linus's videos, it doesn't seem boring unlike other reviewers who are doing the same thing that he does.

  • i like this notebook

the cpu sucks but ur battery life increases

  • I dunno if it's specific to the Olympic Edition, but this one has a multilingual keyboard... the layout is different, and there are all sorts of fancy characters you can type by using the "Alt Gr" key.

  • I love Acer :D

  • Explain why would I want to have the olympic logo on my laptop again?

  • LOL. Ridiculus isnt it. (i know i spelt it wrong)

  • You didn't spell ridiculous correctly.

  • I know, thats what i said.

  • 2GB memory and 64-bit...

    why?

  • so you can upgrade to 4gb and fully use the ram

  • Future-proofing.

  • notebook made for special people... Acer brings you Acer Aspire 1410 Special Olympics Edition!!!

  • saussage fingers

  • How do you get all these things for unboxing ?

  • Working in a store probably helps

  • its a review unit. you call up acer for example and tell them you review things. then they send u stuff and you review it then send it back.

  • He works for NCIX

  • J/K lol funny if it was really show

  • blacklisted ages ago

  • yeah

  • lol

  • lol serious? xD

  • Linus is going to competing in the 2010 VANCOUVER Olympics! He is gonna win lol

  • I dunno if I could wake up and brave each day if I knew I was Canadian, props to you man. Props to you.

  • LO MOTHER EFFING L

  • Uggg why would you ever want the Olympics rings branding on your laptop. It so random! All of the real estate is taken up by the keyboard and not eenought for the trackpad...Meh....

  • Why would you want an ACER laptop is a better question...

  • @nrkpg91 like I didn't know that? just a damn joke

  • But can it overclock to run faster?

  • made in nigeria

  • You don't really want to overclock laptops/netbooks as doing so would seriously affect the battery life and the cooling inside laptops would probably be insufficient. Also, you'd probably be locked out of doing so in the BIOS anyway.
