This song reminds me that God is always with me. The first part reminds me of when I was in elementary school and I didn't have many friends. I was so lonely and for comfort I would talk to God. I realized why I didn't have very many friends in elementary school late in life. God was waiting to introduce me to some really good friends who would all help me. Thank you all, with special thanks to Austin. Thanks for reminding me of who I am.

@disneymagic16 I'm just at a loss for words. I helped a friend deal with a bad boyfriend before. He'd tear her down, break her heart over and over again, and I didn't know it until later but he also abused her. What I've noticed about women in general is they don't give up on someone so easily. Even though they themselves know they must, they still can't immediately. I wish I knew you for real. I wish I knew what to say. All I can say is thank YOU for keeping your purity other women rarely keep.

This song brings tears to my eyes and something called. Hope. I am Lds and I have been depressed, lonely. Told myself, family that I don't have friends. Which I feel I don't. My heart has been broken Many times from the young man I loved. (on a mission) I have cried so many tears that I know God counts. When I listen to this song, it gives me comfort to know that I have a friend. I can't see him, but I can feel him close. He is my redeemer and savior.

@disneymagic16 I believe that you found that you have a testimony of the power of music. Music definitely uplifts people, but it can also bring others down. God does count the tears of women. He loves you and desperately wants you to succeed. He wants YOU to find a worthy man and marry for eternity in the temple. I know that you can because Christ is willing to help you with all of your infirmities, including depression and heartache. Just remember to take hold of his outstretched hand. :)

I'm from mexico and... I turned 18, so I thought "yeah Imma do whatever I want... i'm gonna drink and smoke whenever and wherever I want" but right before that, something much more better than that suddenly hit me and changed my mind and heart... I never thought it was going to be this way but God is very very veryy poweful he is my hero and I'm very thankful I knew he was calling me and i oppened my heart at the right moment... There is nothing more saddening to me than a woman's tears. A daughter of God whose heart has been broken and her spirit wounded, how precious she is. I dearly hope each of you women out there know how beloved you are. There is a Heavenly Father and he does love his royal daughters dearly. I pray you all marry the one who recognizes that. I know I'll never be equal, but I'll try my hardest to be pure enough to wed one myself. I am a man (or rather, I am a boy) and this brought tears to my eyes.

My beautiful mother passed away from brain cancer on April 19, 2008. The night before she died, while my sister and I sat by her bedside, my sister let me listen to this song for the first time.
