@216StealthSS go take your auto to some switchbacks and see how it performs compared to a 6 speed. if you end up in 1st gear leaving a corner you will most likely spin the tires and possibly even spin out if you're not ready for it. leave the corner in 2nd you won't be in your powerband and you will be much slower on the straights.
Try the same in a 6 speed and leaving in second would blow your car away. The only reason to have an auto is if your right hand is too preoccupied with the passenger.

@skipdafer yeah, I got fresh tires on my Camaro. It is a practiced technique to learn how to control 340 lb/ft of torque without making the tires spin. But easing on it slowly and then flooring it will always work better than flooring it from the start, otherwise you will fishtail and your tires will spin.

hope you have tires that are rated at 124mph or more, because if you have tires less than that you have a possiblity of a blowout and bad things happen, thats why its good to know the speed rating of the tire. My '01 Z28 is an auto, went 0-60 in 5.2 seconds with no tire spin what so ever.

@z06killer03mach1 i guess the zo6 had a shitty driver,,, ur mach 1 with a good driver will barely break 100-105 down the 1/4 mile and the zo6 115-120 on the 1/4 mile roughly ~ 10car lengths faster than a stock mach1 with that its not even a fair race 305hp vs 405 and a lot lighter,,, with a competent driver any ls1 camaro or ls6 z06 will kill a mach 1

@germantellez18 well you know what as soon as i find a reliable person that doesnt try and rip people off on ebay. my mach is actually pretty damn quick i was running 13.1 at the track at 109 on nitto nt 555r's with the stock 3.55 gears and full exhaust and im going single turbo instead im loooking at around 480 at the wheels with the navi heads. :) oh and btw a car isnt judged based on stock not anymore no one is stock anymore its about the driver and the setup i appreciate any thing fast

Hang on now, SVT and Mach1' are fast, so I can see where chevy gets pist here, but since chevy has Introduced Its nascar cooling, all aluminum LS1 engine, there hasen't been another force to be recon with naturally aspirated!! All Ive owned were mustangs, but got sick of the HP numbers, even now with Its 2010 pony. They should be making more horse. Far as the video, very nice, just a bit confused, my 98LS1 Auto SLP lid/Exhaust seems to get that speed a bit quicker.. Either way, Nice ride brotha.

1. The 5.0 motor for the mustang is dead. Its not coming back. 2. I could spend 7 to 10k on an ls1 m/t 6 speed camaro that has an exhaust and intake lid, 200 dollars on a cam, install it myself, and go have it dyno tuned and ls1 edit tune and be making a little over 400 rwhp. Ill take 400+ rwhp for 7 to 10k. I guarrentee you dont get low 4's. Youre bragging on youtube about a beamer you dont have. Only the top of the line beamers will do a 4 second 0-60. And youre talking over $80k
